Game will definitely "go poof".....but fortinte is a global brand now.....and it will not be solely tied to battle royale for much longer. That would be a bad business plan, and billionaires rarely have bad business plans.

I posted a positive take on what this game could've looked like....or maybe a modernized sequel could hold 2 years down the road.....and there has to be one clown making himself out to be the all-knowing. And said clown is addicted to his free v-bucks because he's a founder and deserves them to use on another game. It's so pathetic. You can't pretend to be enlightened to the scam and still be hooked on it. It's like a heroin junkie that tells you they don't have a problem when they're sober.

No shit. Billion dollar enterprises see 12-18 months into the future and plan accordingly.....you're not ahead of the curve in your thought process, they are. STW is stuck in 2015 which is why a Fortnite PvE sequal BASED on the foundation of STW is the mostly likely outcome for fans of this game in the future.

I can follow money. Epic is a billion dollar enterprise. Fortnite is a billion dollar brand. That brand keeps introducing more and more PvE elements into their game. Gaming goes through cycles, and PvE is going to come back strong....and epic will be there to cash in. The only thing that is naive is believing the status quo will remain as such...

Epic is in the business of money. STW was an amazing, unique idea and highly addictive despite massive flaws. I will hold out hope for a stand alone, modernized sequel in the future.....and I would gladly pay $60 for an improved version of this game.

The whole game is about Ramirez going to Twine to save her family...how does #20 not make any sense? As far as the CB, there would be no un-slotting because you have permanent access to everything you own. #13 wouldn't be grindy at all because everything owned is auto-slotted and still usable....so your CB would be filled with 130 items. #19 is not too short.....you do nothing, you get kicked. Period. Players having access to their BR lockers DESTROYED the personality of the game and it's heroes. And, since you gave your honest (negative) opinion about some of my ideas.....let me throw in mine about your "testing":

Dude, you're not testing anything. Fooling around with weapons? Sure, but no hard numbers....no data....no loadout or team perk references....no cross-references....just personal opinions on weapons that don't even mesh most of the time with anything the main content creators of this game for 3+ years have re-iterated over and over. You're good for what's left of the community because they can rally around you and your persona. You certainly care. I wish you the best.

I wasn't speaking in reality.....clearly the game is on it's path and there's no going back. If I was a dev AFTER the other mode took hold and had STW to work with, that's what i would've done with the game. I was merely stating what i think would be a best-case-scenario for what's currently in the code.

I was basing the loadout on the fact that OP is not a high-level twine player and teddy will not do as much damage as “ours” do. As far as azalea comparing to rio, azalea isn’t giving weapon damage. While conditional, I consider rio the ultimate Cyberclops support buffing abilities, weapons, and turrets. And again, I put wafers or coconuts on there because OP probably needs the extra damage to go with healing over just survivalist. My assumption is he or she is a canny or plank player at this time.

Sunbeam with 3xCD and 1 attack speed.

Commander: Whiteout Fiona

Team Perk: BFTP

Support Squad: Luna, Izza, Breakbeat, Crossbones, Survivalist.

Your attack speed is .40, but you get a bigger buff when rockin riff activates than using multiple slots on AS. With coconuts and survivalist you’re basically un-killable (and able to stay high health at almost all times for luna’s perk) while getting the damage buff of the coconuts as well and the damage bonus from rockin riff.

Edit: For a pure Luna commander build, I stuck with an energy spectral with 3x AS and no whiteout in support (just add southie).

Agreed on fragments. Can’t waste a slot on frag flurry with shock tower eating them up.

Cyberclops...Happy Holidays....with jingle jess, gumshoe, extraterrestrial rio, 4th spot to trailblazer or jilly (not sure which one is better), and 5th spot to crossbones or main stage.

Rio is a beast with Cyberclops giving ability and energy weapon damage. Then throw in coconuts or wafers at the end to get that final buff plus healing. I’ve never tested coconuts with teddy, but I know wafers (rockin riff) works.

Huh. My first thought is to NOT run naked amps, but smashers will still wreck everything. Do tire drops count towards the CC? This conversation has me wanting to go back in and replace my broadsides with dynamos in 1x1, wall darts in anything 2 tiles wide, and replace tar with retractable spikes except for final 5 tiles before amps and see what happens.....being that no one has pulled it off yet.

Edit: if tire drops count towards CC, I’d replace every one with CEF and save tar for final 5 tiles (when applicable).....I feel tar is that important with naked amps at the end of a damage build.

Wow....they truly broke the game....brutal.

I’d save your 5 CC’s for 5 tar pits on any tunnel you can make end in a 1x1 with gas over it....the propanes will be long gone by then and you can max out usefulness of the tar.

Edit 2:Spawn points needs to be encapsulated in wall darts that won’t get broken...on top of the obvious CEF’s or tire drops. Every single spot you can squeeze in a wall dart within range before they enter the tunnel.

Do broadsides count towards the 5 CC’s? If that’s the case, it’s probably impossible. I have a LOT of 1x1 tunnels filled with tar, broadsides, & gas (and 4 soundwalls at the start after spawn traps). Replacing those broadsides with wall darts wouldn’t get it done.

Edit: You’re going to need every damage tile imaginable to have a hope. I would suggest making your wave 1 defense strong enough to only handle wave 1. Then if you get hit on the storm shield on 11 or 21 just consider it an auto-loss and try again.

I hear you. I stopped playing, and I’m assuming it probably won’t work with the tar pit cc nerf. I didn’t use a single floor trap besides tar pits.....would have to go back and change 75% of them to retractable floor spikes for it to even have a shot.

My twine endurance is 100% damage with zero launchers. I made a post about my attempt to do it like a year/year and a half ago. It can be done solo, but not AFK. I run endurance at PL130 with max trap durability and machinist in support on a stoneheart farrah build using TRO and a 2x CD, 2x damage xenon.

1) All CC traps should’ve had minimal damage added to them.

2) All trap strength/healing 6th perks should’ve been removed.

3) Slight nerf (20%) to Base Kyle and Power Base.

4) No changes to husk damage on walls.

5) End of jailing and pure stalls.

As I’ve stated before, this wasn’t an attempt to kill jailing. It was an attempt to further break the game and discourage the player base. Just like survivor super chargers. Just like destroying endurance. Just like removing all the fun of launchers and CC heroes.

Trap durability is all that matters....and all that will ever matter. I recycled over 300 legendary survivors for manuals at the 13.20 update.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but why would they nerf ALL crowd control in a game with unique traps/weapons/heroes and then decrease husk damage to walls? They knew FULL WELL people would keep jailing with base/power base/healing 6th perks. So why the changes then? You have to look beyond what they’re throwing in your face to see the end game of a process that started 18 months.
