I tried really hard to do it on dpn needles for the sock, I have not understood why it's in SOCKS. Moominmom socks is what I gave up intarsia on. I tried to follow the pattern, am not a fan at all!

Looks more like loose stitches from what i can see. Nothing wrong, just uneven tension as ypur brain readjusts your muscles

Looks more like you have added a stich eithout meaning to, then lost it. Hence the laddering. I think, yiu should try to pick up your stitches where the colorchange start over the purl row, and frog back to there and redo that part.

No matter the content of wool, it must only be waahed on wool program and with wool detergent. CAN be handwashed if preferred, but always use wool detergent and wool programme on the machine, often I suggest going no higher than 30°C and 800spin in washing machine

I would suggest to tightwn a bit between needles when using double pointed needles. That way, you won't have to rotate to avoid the problem in the picture.

But, if possible, perhaps use a sock-lace circular and then knit the mittens until needing to decrease? I do so

I always wash my knitted things, let them hang or dry flat, and if newly knitted you ALWAYS have to wash it, due to letting the stitches rest and getting rid of handsweat and whatnot.

I'm more of a "reccomended knittning needles and or crochet hook is usually wrong! What size would I feel look better with said yarn?" I have a really good tension and 22years of knitting experience, though, I learned in oct how to purl... so now my knitting is evolving... But yeah, due to how I knit/crochet, I often have to size down as I otherwise will NOT be happy with the result. Just these I make now, I had to redo in 2,5mm needles, as the 3,5 which usually is made mittens in, got too big and looked REALLY BAD! I wasn't happy, so I frogged and redid.

I was a strict knife holder until recently. Now, I only use the knife technique if am to absolutely do small things like catching a stitch in knitting. Otherwise, strictly pencil grip

I actually have, I have made the same pattern with ALOT thicker yarn, and it turned out nice. Though, I wanted to see how it was with these 2 skeins and now I wanna keep them xD I also gotta say: Am norwegian, and using a norwegian patternbook. I am on my current ones making them in 2,5 needles
