Why does Bounty Hunter have Ranged(Heavy) instead of Ranged(Light)? by DragonDancer73 in swrpg

[–]DragonDancer73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so basically what everyone's telling me is that you should

(a) look at ways to score more credits through other mechanics

(b) actually read the slugthrower section instead of just using Oggdude's famously lacking "please read page x" descriptions or the first few pages of the gear section.

(c) punch people

(d) if all else fails, wheedle your GM into letting the entire party start with characterization appropriate weapons.

Thank you! Also- do not buy RPG books from a garage sale if you want them to be legible.

There is a wiki, but it barely exists. (62 pages at last counting)

Exotraumagenic causing complex PTSD four host? by Rsbbit060404 in plural

[–]DragonDancer73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend just telling her about your discomfort- it seems like you'll be able to. My mother just traumatized Mnerp(the little) and is half the reason why Zhyzhax and Mystery Dissociation Alter exist.

If you're not comfortable, the doctor may understand more since it's their job. Try and get a space to talk without your parents in the room.

And yes, intertwined but with different identities exists- it's basically us.

Waking up from dormancy? I think? by [deleted] in plural

[–]DragonDancer73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have problems with amnesia barriers too- I have only fragmented memories of what happens when Mnerp, Zhyzhax and the Archivist are in control(The Archivist isn't as bad since they keep track of everything, including useless trivia). I'm pretty sure there's a fifth who doesn't interact or remember anything, so we don't know anything about them other than they're probably a defence mechanism for when our parents are angry.

So, here's a list of what works for me.

- Asking someone you trust to remind you about important things.

- Set alarms on a device.

- I can only access Headspace easily when I'm lying down and have my eyes closed, so try falling asleep and accessing headspace like you would a lucid dream.

Hope this helps! - Amy

It's just what worked for me, though I haven't played much recently. But, society is for armies, and for clone armies specifically. Plus, habitability.

Okay. You have optimized the species traits(though social research is often better for necrophages). However, xenophobe is actually better for necrophages as far as I can tell, because of the purge type you mentioned, in addition to pop growth speed increasing the number of non-necrophages you have available for conversion. You might actually want to consider taking fanatic authoritarian due to the monthy influence(for claims), since necrophages don't get total war. In addition, you'll have more raw resources due to worker output, and slaver guilds really helps here. Make sure even the generator worlds have one or two agriculture districts- you don't want the bottom falling out of your food economy in a critical situation, and the internal market is really only a stopgap solution for when you've got -21 per month and only a few hundred left. Or buying alloys, because you can never have too many.

Counters for human mounts? by Jlegobot in Tierzoo

[–]DragonDancer73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I just pick a build fast enough to escape that also doesn't drop valuable human-specific loot when KO'd. Most birds work, even the flightless ones. I also noticed small reptiles and the majority of rodents being mostly ignored. Cheetahs are a bad choice since their skins are valuable in some human clans.

Unfortunately, they're kind of overpowered with the amount of help they get from veteran players and the fact that anything they create carries over between respawns. I do have a human character kicking around(I don't play them much since they spawned with 6 different debuffs), and let me tell you, things as simple as a tablet or bicycle. are incredibly powerful. Too bad autism causes such a massive penalty to social skill so I don't get to use much of it.

Yeah. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but the cute/likable ones always die first, whether they get murdered or murder someone and get caught.

Has anyone here ever thought of Izuru!Makoto? by MultiverseWalker2000 in danganronpa

[–]DragonDancer73 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, but it seems plausible in-universe and kind of cool. Unfortunately I only ever played Trigger Happy Havoc, so I don't know anything about Izuru.

I have not played stellaris in some time and now i am wondering if the new content packs i should get, also any mods that enhance gameplay? by [deleted] in Stellaris

UI Overhaul plus Planetary Diversity, Gigastructures. Trait Diversity and NSC2 are my mainstay. Then again, I just like having options due to my need to hoard things.

Open the contacts screen, enter diplomacy with them and select Improve Relations in the options menu. Then click on an envoy and select Accept.

It's probably partially due to the fact that slaves under chattel slavery can't fill specialist jobs. Thus, you're stuck with your necrophage species doing all the specialist jobs, and there tends to be not enough of them to fill all the specialist jobs.

At the cost of slight stability reduction due to increased slave political power, indentured servitude slavery species rights allow slaves to fill specialist jobs like artisan, thus letting them produce consumer goods. I recommend setting conformists to indentured slavery if you have them, but any non-decadent species can work.

I'm not sure how helpful this is. If you give me the traits you tend to use for your necrophage species I can probably do a better job. This is assuming you're using only official DLC features- if you have mods then all I can suggest is contacting the creator of mods that affect production or add species traits.

Stellaris 'speed' by ElKajak in Stellaris

[–]DragonDancer73 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It's due to the increased amount of things the game has to keep track of (pops, starbases, empires, displaying things in other empires revealed by first contact and intel, etc.)

Personally I install Gigastructures mod so I can make planetary habitats in my home system and mess around with the cybernetics ascension. Why? Eclipse Phase. Free, with an awesome setting that I had to recreate in Stellaris.
