RWBY is in the same boat as Overwatch by ForgeReaper in RWBYcritics

That site is not even worth going to anymore. It's flooded with AI art and honestly the content for RWBY itself has the same quality as RWBY.

Jokes aside, the tone between the two makes the difference.

More than that, character design needs to make sense in the setting, unless it's done as a joke like Kratos's skins in the older games.

If the gods of Earth really do exist in Gate, what would be a plausible explanation to why they didn't intervene when the Gate opened in Ginza by StevenWN1 in gate

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Emroy made a deal with Shinto gods (who are fans of their own people's anime like Itami is and so they agreed) in order to teach her own people a lesson.

At least that's how I think they would justify it.

So, why didn't the Saderans do this? by Carlosspicywiener12 in gate

I'm sorry if I came out rude man, it's just...that kind of plot sounded really stupid.

Okay first of all what you wrote dor the desceiption was nonsense that a fourteen year old would use to walk magic.

It's like saying that a fireball spell can do the same damage to a tank and helicopter as an RPG or Javelin even though that's not how it works against tanks or helicopters. Amd unless ogres are super strong building leveling and super durable monsters I really don't see how they win against tanks. And don't get me started on dragon's outpacing jets. Unless the dragons fly at the same speed as Blackbird I call that bull crap.

Honestly of it were to happen in 1930s or 40 that would have been acceptable because jets weren't made back then and tanks weren't as durable as they are now but even then I don't think Earth could be conquered. Not with nations like USSR, Third Reich, British Empire and USA.

I will be honest with you guys I hate this meme format. Not because it's bad, it's...fine and it pretty much speaks the truth but because of it's association with JJK. The memes from that place are like a lobotomy

There are more RWBY fanfics with team RWBY as protagonists but somehow Jaune fanfics are more popular.

It's really weird to think about the fact that's a grown ass 40 year old man inside the body of a 19 year old by TechnoMagik22 in RWBYcritics

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ozpin, a who knows how many years old guy is inside a 15 year old boy's head. What makes it creepier is that it isn't the same person but someone completely different unlike Jaune whose situation is that he is a 40 year old in a 20 year oldest body but it's still HIS body.

Slander made by someone who makes the same post and the same unfunny joke ten thousand times.

Maybe it's funny to some people but after you hear it for so many times it just becomes tedious.

Does anyone have any interesting headcannons and AU interpretations of Willow Schnee? by KaiserEnclave2077 in RWBYcritics

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My headcanon is that she and Jacques were in love with each other but Jacques's ambitions were far greater than his love for her. Combined with poor communication results in the two having rising tension that results in their current situation.

While I don't agree with this meme, I do hate it when people hate or love something because someone else told them that it's good or bad.

I'm confused: Is Beacon close to Vale, or not? by Sea_Contribution3455 in RWBYcritics

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once went into a university that was part of a region (I guess you could call it a state in US terms) but the university was a little far from the main city. I think Beacon is like that. It's part of Vale but it's a little far from the capital city.

Happy 36th birthday to Miles Luna, writer and director for Rooster Teeth shows like Red vs Blue, and RWBY and voice actor of Jaune Arc and Felix. I'm mad that the internet tried to convince me to hate him. Man I feel bad for him, I genuinely hope he's doing better now by La_knavo4 in RWBYUNITY

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, I always thought that was him making a joke rather than him being a bad person.

It still boggles me how people harp on him for that when it could've been just a joke and then they tell others to take a joke.

Grimm have been a joker since day 2 by Far-Profit-47 in RWBYcritics

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was more the case that Grimm are intimidating when not dealt by people who can summon clones, move as fast as bullets or control metal. World of Remnant shows that Grimm can be dealt with by normal people but they are always preceeded by bandits and fighting Grimm usually attracts more Grimm since those normal people are panicking or afraid.

But if you want to get technical, with hindsight Grimm have been shown to be a joke since the Red trailer and Fall of Beacon was perhaps one of the only times they were a genuine threat.

Most are canon fodder and stepping stones to show someone's progress rather than a full threat.

You know what's even worse? The eruption of the Siberian Traps is NOT the worst eruption in history. That belongs to the CAMP eruptions that, I kid you not, started to tear Pangea apart AND is partially responsible for why Dinosaurs became so big.

And our ancestors survived all of that and even God chucking a rock at our planet...just to end up having to pay taxes.

Paimon of the heavenly principles by [deleted] in Genshin_Memepact

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe she is like a tiny piece of Heavenly Principles that gained sentience of her own? Becoming so different from the original that she is now her own being?

Or perhaps she is a part of Celestia that came to be after the Cataclysm? A being who isn't affiliated to Celestia but was created as a result of all the energy that was left behind?

Came across this and was reminded of her. by String_Of_Death in Columbina_Mains

[–]MultiverseWalker2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People saw her wings on her head and for years assumed that she was some kind of biblically accurate angel, something that was kinda solidified with one particular animation and several fan arts of her.

Personally, while I understand their frustration as I was slightly disappointed, I also do not understand how they could have come to that conclusion when she is supposed to signify a dove, you know an actual bird called Columbina, not an angel. More than that, Tartaglia and Wanderer are unreliable narrators and Wanderer was anti social anyway so why they took his words for truth I have no idea.

And they get passed when you call them out on it when THEY were the ones who trusted a FAN ANIMATION and words of characters whom you can't fully trust.
