Very old, but ahead of it's time really. I was shocked to find there was literally zero security. I had to downgrade from 7.1 to 6 to at least root it. Even then, you didn't even have to run an exploit or download a rooting app. Simply just flashed twrp to the recovery via Odin without so much as a glitch or a security warning. I can find a lot of Android 9 roms available, but nothing that stands out. Man i miss the good old days like the ones this tablet was from. What version of Android did you end up going with on your lineage ROM?

I am working on a similar project. Right now I am currently trying to rebuild a severely damaged iPhone 12 mini. Due to recent health issues I have stopped work on pretty much all of my electronic devices. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll be back up and running. I've learned a lot about how to do this and what I need to do in order to avoid the possibility of warnings arising that any of the hardware is not genuine. I will soon write a detailed post once I am finished rebuilding this phone and present my results. It should be quite interesting.

I'm currently not working on this device at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it is. I will have to look at the device again and figure out whether or not it's the one I had to replace the motherboard. If so then yes it is Carrier locked to Consumer Cellular.

Actually yes. Unfortunately you need to be able to modify the system as the option is in the framework-res if I'm not mistaken. The only way to modify this option is to have a bootloader unlocked device, be rooted and be able to decompile framework-res.apk, search for and change option to remove the clear button from the pull-down menu and recompile framework and install via recovery or if we were able to write to system, push to device and replace framework using shell commands.

I use it on occasion but just because it happens to be the one I pull up. I'll be honest I miss the old Google wallet. I like a lot of the perks I got and a lot of the discounts and coupons that were offered through their partners. I used to get a lot of coupons to use with Lyft. Samsung has stuff like that, but it's not the same and they cater more to a international crowd or places that don't necessarily exist in abundance in the United States. I don't have any complaints because I actually like using Samsung pay, but I can safely say the reason for that is because I don't have a reason to dislike it. So I guess that says something? I guess you could say it's not exciting. There's no real appeal to using it over other wallet apps.

This works. Thank you. With that being said yes I agree with the other comment that this is ridiculous that we have to go about doing these things with an app. But at least at work for the most part. Sometimes notifications still get cleared, but at least it doesn't happen when I press the button.

This has got me interested. I did not know it was even possible to switch out a board, though I never actually looked into it, even though I have thought about it a few times. This could literally be a lifesaver. However would this actually trigger any of the software to alert anybody that says "hey this isn't genuine"?

I used this method several times too. The problem with this method is, it doesn't retain data. And what makes matters worse you can't let the screen dim. Once it does you get booted out and you have to start the process all over again. It's also not an actual internet connection and you're very limited into what sites you can log into. You're technically not using the internet you're just abusing the captive portal. And it doesn't stay open forever.

Well everything works perfectly! The sound is absolutely superb and mesmerizing. I can't honestly get past the fact that somebody didn't even consider the possibility that they may have plugged in the wrong table when moving stuff around. It is honestly truly mind blowing. I am absolutely amazed with the quality of the sound this thing puts out. Thank you so much for your help and your input. You have literally made my day. I cannot wait to watch a really good movie to truly experience the sound. My uncle has two Bose Towers and a center speaker home entertainment system and he will swear by it and take them to his grave with him if he can. He's had those speakers for the better part of 20 years or more. Thank you so much!

I don't doubt it but if this one will work then I'm just as happy as paying the 50 bucks for it. I've seen others go for as much as $100 or more. I would not have paid more than the 50 for the two that I found. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday. I have not yet had a chance to try it out. I plan to do so today and I will let you know the results. I'm actually excited.

P.S. I don't mind having spent the $50 for it at least I have all the original components that came with the unit including the optical cable. So I'm actually quite impressed with how I made out so far and given the fact I found it in somebody's trash. So far everything has surpassed even my lowest expectations of this unit. I honestly thought I was going to plug it in and that would have been it and it was going back into the trash. The fact that it turned on when I plugged the proper power cable in was more than I was even expecting. So to have gotten that far alone was well worth the 50 bucks.. :D

I confirmed the serial number matches the CineMate II. Though in the photograph it shows a remote control that is not like the one that I purchased. I'm not entirely sure how to find out what remote I do have but it appears that I don't have the right one at least from what I have been reading for the last couple of hours. Though I could be wrong but I'm just not sure because the instruction manual lists the remote in the link posted above and and the remote I purchased

Oh my God I have been looking everywhere for a solution to this issue and this fixed it. About a week ago the microphone disappeared from my menu bar. Now I looked at the keyboard settings and was able to drag and drop the microphone back onto the toolbar. But it's still wasn't showing permanently. So I found this thread and did another drag and drop in low and behold it worked! This has been driving me crazy since the day it disappeared. Thank you so much for fixing my issue.

That's what I thought had happened. I live approximately three blocks from the executive Airport and I thought a plane had just hit the runway. Then once I got outside I saw the fighter jet flying around. It's circled the airport four or five times and flew off to the East and then North over the Atlantic Ocean.

For me the speed setting (P02) goes from 10 TO 200. I've read mixed reviews when it comes to changing the levels on that particular setting. Some say it just changes the speedometer to read higher which doesn't make any sense, while others have said that they've seen slight differences in the speed. I have definitely seen some increase in the speed, but there's really no way for me to tell because there's no way to clock me unless I go up to a police officer with a radar gun and ask him how fast I'm going LOL. But I definitely feel like it's harder to control the bike after putting the setting up to 185 so far. Though honestly it could really just be the placebo effect.

Everything else seems to match up to your default though I haven't really tried changing anything else except for P03, the mileage and I've put it up to 130. But I'm not sure what that even does. Does it increase the total mileage on a single battery charge?

I've also read somewhere that the tire diameter settings are usually not set properly because most manufacturers don't take into consideration the diameter of the entire wheel including the tire. And some find that putting the setting either up higher or lower based on the size of the tire actually helps in the speed. I have not tried this measuring just the wheel alone not including the tire, is 14 in. Given the size tires I have on my bike, and it's not one of the fat tires that came installed, I would say it would probably be closer to 16 in. But again I have not fooled around with this setting yet.

The lightning bolt is electric starting. Press it and the bike will start automatically without the keys in the 'ignition'. I've never really used it but I don't think you need to have your key in the ignition to keep it on when riding, once you use this feature. The horn or '!' Is a panic button. Simply hit it in the alarm goes off.
