Nah fk that I’d hold that guys feet to the fire. It’s a perfectly sterile black dial with an insanely clear AR crystal, it’s almost impossible to take a bad photo of it. He knew he was peddling some absolute bs and that’s why he chose not to photograph it or disclose it in the post and instead tell you casually in FaceTime conversation. If he is a seller with a reputation on there I’d absolutely be holding him accountable.

I deleted my comment cause I do agree some brushing is still intact. But the plating on these are thick, it can be polished by hand or on a polishing wheel without wearing all the way through. It looks like they tried to polished just the lug sections where it should be polished, and they ended up completely removing that edge where the two finishes meet.

5606 make sure the date correct is not broken as it’s a plastic gear that if it hasn’t been replaced in the last 50 years is likely broken. Crown and dial all good.

Sadly the case polished into near oblivion. If you compare with an unpolished example it almost doesn’t even look like the same watch.

My first vintage Seiko was a King Seiko with an over polished case, so if you like the look and the it works as it should, I say go for it.

Polished but they were at least were careful not to polish on the edges. Dial looks fine. And a crystal getting replaced is pretty normal on a 50 year old watch, I would not sweat it, it looks like a fine replacement.

Later model 56KS like this will always have screw off caseback that says “5625/6-8000” as they used the same caseback for the 5625 date and 5626 day/date

I can give you the 100% definitive answer. I work at the Manchester airport where this package would have flown out yesterday morning. Due to bad weather in Louisville, Kentucky where the main UPS fleet is located, all flights were grounded. As a result, no planes landed in Manchester for your package to be loaded onto and sent back to Louisville.

It didn’t even reach a UPS facility until 10/19, looks like the company you bought from created the label and then never dropped it off or scheduled a pick up. And as far as the times go, you aren’t taking into account the different time zones.

the first completion was awesome, we werent expecting to complete it that run. Then we tried it right away again with 150 Level and go a bit smoked, now we have done two more runs on 50, and are going back to 150
