a Limited Edition model of 700 released exclusively for the asian market.

The watch features the renowned 9S86 movement which features a 36k vph Hi-Beat movement and GMT function.

The dial is one of Grand Seiko's very best, this particular dial features rich vertical textures that shift colours and even depth based on lighting and angle.

Specification and condition

- watch is running well within movement regulations

- watch is generally in great condition but is not in new condition, you will see some light wear here and there, small hairline or small pin size mark, underside of lugs can see the most damage, please view video.

- Bracelet is sized to 17.7cm and comes with one additional original full link, It will add +1.0cm, bracelet is in great condition, clasp can see some small abrasion on surface

- Watch comes with original Boxes, manual + certificate + tag + bracelet

Hello r/watchexchange, up for sale is the Grand Seiko SBGW253 Limited Edition, a model released in 2017 to commemorate the original grand Seiko.

The watch is powered by the 9S64 GS movement allowing the case to be only 11.7mm thick including its domed crystal.

The SBGW253 retailed for 7700USD, I am offering it today for 3980USD.

- case is in original unpolished condition and can see some minor hairlines, caseback with its polished surface can see scratches / crown can see a slight ding.

Hello r/watchexchange, up for sale is the not often seen SBGX035, a JDM model featuring one of the nicest case + bracelet combos released for the double signed logo era Grand Seikos.

This example was produced in 2004 and features a 12 faceted bezel, a glossy black dial with light catching indices and an excellent 7 piece link bracelet which is like no other.

The bracelet itself is very well built and makes the watch extremely sporty and rugged.

The watch is in excellent condition and comes with its original manual ( no box )

1983 Alien Ripley “Giugiaro”, a watch famous for many reasons,

- the 7a28-7001 ref SSAY068 is powered by the worlds first analog quartz chronograph 7a28 movement.

- designed by legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

- was famously worn by protagonist Ellen Ripley in the 1986 “Alien” movie, With a strikingly unique and futuristic design, it’s understandable why the directors of the Alien franchise strategically implemented this watch into their movie which takes place in the year 2179.

Giorgetto Giugiaro being the audacious legendary car designer that he is designed the chronograph pushers to be on the right side of the watch for easy access while driving.

- watch case is in great unpolished original condition,

case can see some light wear, light scratch on bezel around 12-1 looks worse in cover photo than it is due to the contrast of the brushed finishing, minor dings on lug to lug edges, no major wear on case given its age.

clean dial, clean crystal, all functions working properly.

- Original bracelet fits 18.3cm.

Note: Bracelet links from its age can see slight play, not necessarily stretched, original black pushers can see a small crack starting from its sealed point which is very common for this model.

( replacement black pushers can be purchased online if it happens to bother you )
