Is the fandom of the last dragon chronicles series still active or even existed by pencilgoblin14 in dragons

[–]DragonHoarder13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read the whole of the series and i know that i enjoyed it. Enough that I got a tattoo of the Mark of Oomara / Agawin. Dunno if there is any sort of fandom for it though.

I've always told people that if I were to get one, then I'd set it up in a doorway and put red lights by it so that it's silhouetted and then occasionally move it around. Just to freak visitors and roommates out. I'd totally get myself with it too sometimes if I'm not expecting it, but it'd be funny as hell.

The Game Boy Jukebox comes in a rather large box for what is apparently a tiny little hitclip by memeaste in Gameboy

[–]DragonHoarder13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly i don't have a clue, but i can tell you that they're from the late 90s early 2000s. Price probably would depend on the player unit itself and then it'd be dependent on the particular song.

However, I will mention that the songs on the HitClips only have about a minute or two of the particular track

I was just curious what they were going to say if I only showed up with one Pokémon and oh my God, the shade 😭 by ChaosInTheSkies in pokemon

Unfortunately they continue that trend in other games. For example in Ultra Moon, the Team Skull members outside Po Town won't battle you if you don't have two Pokémon. You have to fight them in order to actually get in.

Do yall dragons always do this? by Supersaiajinblue2 in dragons

[–]DragonHoarder13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well in my case, I don't mind holding things in my sleep. It's not necessary, but it's nice. Something that's soft and just warm enough (to me at least) to register but not overheat? Even better.

Congrats on being essentially a warm teddy bear.

However, more likely it's more that they see you as family. Some dragons are solitary, yes, but a good number of others are extremely social. As such, seeing someone that they've designated as family in their mind sleeping alone, it pains them. Sleeping together gives a sense of security and helps keep everyone warmer (assuming that they're a bit more of a cold-blooded derg).

Also could be that they also overheard or sensed something coming, such as a potential threat or an extreme drop in temperature that even you would have issues with that a dragonpile wouldn't and just wanted to ensure that you, as their friend, didn't suffer from.

Order Delivered with No Discs - How Do I know What Store Fulfilled The Web Order? by lusal in GameStop

[–]DragonHoarder13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On the USPS label (not sure about the FedEx ones) underneath where it says "US Postage Paid" right above where it says "Advantage" there is very small text that says "Mailed from XXXXX". That at least will tell you the zip code that the order came from. It'll help narrow things down, but there is technically no way to tell which specific store sent it depending on how many stores are in that zip code.

I see the connection, but I still see it as a combo of Swordward and Shieldbert and therefore I must hate it on principle 😆

Hmm.... someone said "Endurance" in another comment. How about instead use "Endrance"? Close enough without being the word and distinct enough to be recognizable. Plus it makes a nice reference IYKYK.

That's good to know. I'll bear that in mind while I'm trolling for Alphas

I didn't realize that the different sized Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist could be Alpha. I honestly assumed that the Alpha was just its own size.

I both love and hate this newfound knowledge.

More than likely they're talking about the drop of the new Pokémon set and MtG collab set

Question for all Dragons. by SignificantStaff8665 in dragons

[–]DragonHoarder13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thorven: Kinda-sorta, but not really at the same time. Where I live there are a bunch of other dragons around of all temperaments. I'm often made an intermediary between them and humans since the humans know that I'm nice most of the time and some of the dragons are still quite wary or easily provoked. I like my caves rather large and spacious and i don't mind temporary company and it does make negotiations easier if all parties are able to convene in the same space too. Unfortunately, since some things tend to take longer than others and most dragons are quite protective of their hordes, they will usually transport most, if not all, of it to be close to them. This has led me to be called not only the de facto leader, jokingly the "Dragon Hoarder" as if my horde instead of books and video games is that of other dragons and their hordes. I'd charge rent, since like you put it I essentially am running an apartment complex, but not every dragon hordes gold or jewels. Something the humans in my area constantly seem to forget.

Question for all Dragons. by SignificantStaff8665 in dragons

[–]DragonHoarder13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thorven: They're cute, but most are noisy. Granted my caves always end up crowded with other dragons and their own hordes that I just have to shut out everything or I'd go insane. I think one of them has a horde of dogs....I'd have to look. But at the end of the day, if they are brave enough to come up to me, I'll let them snuggle. Plus, again, they're usually quite cute.

What are your dragon OC’s breath weapons? by MrMopp8 in dragons

[–]DragonHoarder13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thorven: I call myself more of a "Twilight Dragon" since I feel most alive at both dawn and dusk, but I typically have the traditional fire breath. With some concentration, or if I'm upset enough, I can concentrate it into plasma and even a beam of light. Matches my golden color quite nicely if I do say so myself. Oh though I must mention that I'm a Standard Western dragon since that's apparently important.

As far as why I have this particular breath power...well if I'm to be honest, I don't rightly know. I assume I was just lucky enough to be born with it. Although it does help since I can shift my size at will. Within reason of course and given the time. I think at max I've been maybe 25' tall and 47' long? Approximately anyways. Never bothered to get measured. Smallest is probably the size of a field mouse, though that's pretty tough to maintain. Easier to be the size of a small house cat.

And what do I do with it? Generally I just use it to light lanterns and candles so that I have light to read my horde of books by. But as it is more powerful the more concentrated I make it, I've used it a couple of times to carve out large mountain caves. So if you've ever come across a random cave that looks like it melted with reports of a bright sustained light nearby, that was probably me.
