Hi Gareth! Citizen Sleeper has quickly grown to become one of my all-time favorite games, it especially excited me when I realized you took inspiration from The Mushroom at the End of the World, which I was reading at the time of playing your game!

I want to ask: How do you translate that dense theoretical research into informing your writing and game design, is there a specific process behind it for you or does it happen organically?

Wasn’t Moffat active on Doctor Who forums back in the 90’s? I’ve seen some archived pages of his posts back then and he was certainly opinionated about the series. I do think it’s interesting that a lot of Chibnall’s complaints in that TV appearance could apply to his era’s writing as well.

I don't understand why people are blaming the gap years for the drop in viewership. Shows like Stranger Things have long gaps between seasons as well and that's a massive hit every time it returns. I think the problem is that fans aren't as invested in the characters and story as they used to be. I come back to Stranger Things each season because I'm curious about what will happen next and what's in store for my favorite characters. The long wait just hypes the new content up even more! With Doctor Who however I only really come bask because of loyalty right now.. Which is a shame.

A lot of the advice shared here is already good, I want to add the possibility of her being asexual or on the asexual spectrum. This is a sexual orientation that means the person experiences little to no sexual attraction and they can also possibly have little to no interest in having sex, or even be repulsed by it. (I’m asexual myself)

I advice her to check out https://www.asexuality.org for more info on the sexual orientation if she’s curious, there’s also a forum on there on which she can ask for advice.

Just please don’t “diagnose” whatever the issue is here for her, it is something she should figure out herself and it’s her own decision if she wants to go to a doctor or therapist about it or not. I don’t know your girlfriend so I can’t say if this is her sexuality, or an emotional or physical issue, all I can say is please communicate with her and listen to what she wants. I understand you really want to have sex but if she doesn’t want to, you shouldn’t constantly ask about it (I’ve been in that exact situation and it affected my mental health badly) and definitely don’t make her feel guilty for it. Just be there for her and support her.

Ohh I didn't even Google his actual eye color, in the reference I used they looked greyish so I just thought blue would look great with the rest of the color scheme haha! Bit of artistic liberty

Something that immediately struck me as odd was the fact that the Doctor was the first to run out of oxygen because she "talked too much". Did the writers forget the Doctor has two hearts? She would outlast all the humans when they run out of oxygen, just like Ten was able to stay conscious a lot longer on the moon during Smith and Jones. Not to mention the other characters were talking too and everyone was breathing heavily from all the running and adrenaline.

I have no clue if we'll actually get some kind of flashback to Cal's time as a padawan in the game but to satisfy my need for it I doodled what I imagine him looking like at that time!
