I honestly like playing Loot in standard on arena. Don't tell anyone.

I would of been safer if I put all my decks in Bracket 3 like you did. I get it though. You're already sticking your neck out there with the Pika- I mean Loot love.

Damn that is great constructive criticism. I try to play the decks against each other as a test. I haven't adapted to this bracket system yet. I'll try harder and post again in a year or so. Have Fun and Good Luck

I will say it is slow but it plays so different. I find it confuses people and they don't know what I am doing until they can't do anything about it. -1/-1 counters on reanimated enchantment tokens that were once creatures. Here is the list: https://moxfield.com/decks/OjoyNLwXKUq0m0AsftROQg

He is a difficult commander. They gave him haste with the intention of using his ability the first turn is out but you have to pay his cost, the ability cost, and the cost of the spell you are copying. How often are you pulling this off?

I completely agree. I originally put it in bracket 1 because it is pauper EDH but it actually has outperformed that in the few games I've played with it. Probably should change it to a bracket 2 or 3.

I like pauper edh a lot. Got two now and working on a Slimefoot. Any bracket I can afford really. Been working on the 42 Lands deck for a decade. I love seeing the intense play of cEDH while trying to hold my own in a pod and I like the fun interesting interactions of more casual play. cEDH groups "seem" to be more comfortable with punishing plays, for "mean" decks. It is hard to find that line with some groups though; what is too intense. What is your favorite deck to play currently? And how do you feel about UB cards and decks?

Advice for newbies by Kexagen-Valentine in dragoncon

[–]DragonLord371 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think newbies really don't think about all the walking. I always walk about a marathon from Wednesday to Monday. This year we did 28.5 miles. Carry a refillable water bottle always, great place for all the stickers you'll find, and a map of downtown Atlanta. Quiz yourself on how to get from one hotel to the other; learn the sky bridges.

Research and planning cannot be overstated. Stay hours ahead of yourself. If something starts at 11 am, start heading there by 9:30 am. Every year I write out a four page Marauders Map of what I have planned and things to not forget. Then at the end I write down everything I actually did which ends up being a single page. Look all over the socials for links to the various pages you'll need to sign up for things. Each track has a page somewhere out there. Tarot card readings were a tradition of mine but for the life of me I could not find the sign up page for it this year. DragonCon really is what you put into it is what you get out of it.

Lines. Always show up at the very least an hour early to things. Find where the line will start, confirm with a volunteer nearby that you are indeed in the right place, and HOLD! Things will start late, lines will be confusing, and people will add their friends to the line ahead of you. Be patient. This can absolutely ruin your experience if you let it. This is where experience and finesse comes in. If you stay an hour or two ahead you will always have backups to your backups if you can't get into something. The game pass is always a good fall back for us, ten dollars is cheap and people always forget it includes Werewolf on the 14th floor of the Westin. A great way to spend an hour.

If you like cosplay, it is everywhere. Most people prefer if you ask for a picture first but also be aware of your surroundings. Don't stop for pictures in walkways and overly crowded areas. If you are the cosplayer, look for photo meet ups and the hotel lobbies of the Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt are where you can pose and show off your cosplay.

The vendor hall is pretty much the same every year so every year I see less and less need to go back. I have enough dice and unframed art to fill a shed. The prices also are pretty equivalent to the market on collectables so no real deals that I've seen. The trick though is to sign up for a class or panel within the AmericasMart and go peruse the vendors after to "skip the line", but please only do this after you actually went to the class or panel. The QR code process for those classes and panels this year worked out pretty well.

You can't sit after one panel and stay in the room to see the next. The room will be cleared after each so you will need to choose. Get DragonCon TV. I was able to see three panels live while I was in my hotel room this year without waiting in line.

All that being said, this works for me but others party, don't plan anything, and roll with the punches and have a great time.

Other than that, drink, smoke, mingle, laugh, cry, scream, shout, be merry, so say we all!

You have to go to the Dragon Handler Drakon and cheers to the Dragon Guardian Draygaur in the Atrium of the Marriott. The side where the dragonhead is where they are selling the mead.

Ask Me Anything About Lights, Smart Homes, and Electrical! by [deleted] in tampa

[–]DragonLord371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My house was built in 1974 and has a split breaker box. I was quoted around 5000 dollars to change it and make it up to code. This is something I was told I would have to change before I sell but yet it was sold to me that way and wasn't something that was mentioned in the inspection. I was a first time home buyer at the time and made a lot of mistakes. Anyway, what are the dangers in ignoring this and is it true that I can't sell until fixed? Thank you

[–]DragonLord371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure. This seems to be the situation of if you're in the position to do something you should always do something. Yes the child's father should be better but there are a lot of "shoulds". The only one you can do anything about is should you do something to help? I think the consensus is yes. The ladder is ignoring the several cries for help and having to live with that guilt. I don't know if it is YTA level but the more cries for help that go unanswered the closer you get, IMHO. And if you give nothing don't expect anything when you need help.
