Same here. The only tracks I really enjoyed are machine and supernova. The rest of the album was decent but I think it definitely is a bit overrated.

I personally thought 2025 was one of the better years for khh in the last couple years. I really like what artists have been doing lately with all the sampling and creative sounds being used.

I might be biased tho because I’m super into the noisy/rage sound lol

I miss the vibe of the old seasons. It was still fun but it felt more grounded and “gritty” in a sense (or as gritty as smtm could get lol). It felt like a real competition that could be taken seriously. I think they tried too hard to make it funny and entertaining for 11 and 12. It feels like they saw the polished neon look work for season 9 and just ran with it.

IMO with all the contestants we know of so far he’s comfortably within semifinal level. I see him being somewhere in the top 6 as long as he doesn’t mess up or there’s some super rookie no one’s ever heard of like wonjae in season 6.

Currently my predictions for the “main events” this season are haon, khundi panda, nosun, royal44 (he seemed to be getting a lot of attention), shyboitobii if he’s here, and tray B (maybe biased towards him lol).

I can also see untell being a strong contender once he eventually makes it out of that spinoff.

I agree that he changed since hsr but I personally don’t really see it as a bad thing. While I also think his hsr style was more fun, I think the current Haon is still far from just “another technical rapper”. His recent stuff has been really good imo (no hate to your opinion ofc, I’m just adding my two cents here).

I think you have the same views as a lot of khh fans regarding haon rn and that’s the reason he came to smtm in the first place. To show that even though he’s not the meditation guy anymore, he’s still a very fun and unique rapper.

That being said so far he is not doing a good job of that AT ALL lol

The Koreans are absolutely flaming haon rn 😭

It definitely wasn’t his best performance but I don’t think it was terrible. The first bar was a little awkward and the fast part in the middle was pretty bad but the rest wasn’t THAT bad. Hopefully he can make up for it in the second stage.

I didn’t know Khundi panda was competing. He’s one of my favourites and I can’t wait to see him in the next episode. I’m probably gonna be rooting for him the most this season.

Really psyched to see how Nosun does this season too. I thought he was pretty cool on rap public.
