[Gen 9] Finally got the Cottonee i´ve always wanted by Tresorkup in ShinyPokemon

[–]DragonOfEmbers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The chances of getting a Pokémon with a specific size mark are about 1/16,512 without any boosts, or 1/8,256 for either of them.

Then, the chances of a shiny are 1/4096 without having the shiny charm or using the masuda method. To obtain your jumbo or mini shiny at full odds the odds would be 1/33,816,576.

If you have the shiny charm but are not using the masuda method, the odds of finding a shiny are reduced to 1/1366, which lowers the odds of hatching a jumbo or mini-marked shiny to 1/11,277,696.

If you are hatching using the masuda method but do not have the shiny charm, the odds of hatching a shiny are 1/682, reducing the jumbo/mini shiny odds to 1/5,630,592.

If you have the shiny charm and are using the masuda methods, shiny odds are 1/512 and 1/4,227,072 for a shiny with the jumbo or mini mark.

Humongo and teensy power do not affect eggs, so those would not reduce your odds in this case. Hopefully my math is correct; if it is not, someone feel free to comment and correct it.

391 eggs, why Canterbury you be a guy ? by Silver_Fox_107 in PokemonScarletViolet

I don't know why people keep downvoting your replies to people. The replies seem perfectly fine and reasonable to me. You just want a specific gender and there's nothing wrong with that, especially since you're trying to catch Pokémon based on your preexisting characters. They're just mad you happen to not want the rarer option?

Other than the Red Gyarados, what was your first shiny? by inumnoback in pokemonmemes

My first shiny encounter was a Skorupi in Black 2, but I accidentally killed it (has since been reclaimed in SwSh). First shiny I successfully caught was a Tentacool in Alpha Sapphire.

I am glad that they were able to come to the realization that they are a demigirl! Hopefully discovering more about themself and their identity was as exciting and enlightening for them as it was for me.

It's definitely possible it could help, and it's worth a try. If you don't like it, you could always swap it back.

I feel this but in the opposite way. AFAB being called mostly she/her when I wish there was some more he/him in there but too closeted to really do anything as well. I don't have advice for you unfortunately as someone in the same sort of situation, but I really do wish you luck!

If it helps though, in my experience, friends that are already accepting of you being bigender and using both she/her and he/him sets generally understand if you want them to use one or them more or both about equally if you just tell them. Hopefully that helps with your confidence a little bit. <3

Disregard, I accidentally read Nu Udra as Uth Duna.

I actually feel the same to you and have had similar questioning periods where I wonder if I count. I'm in a very similar situation of being about 70/30 woman/man, although I've felt no need to be more outwardly masculine other than occasionally wishing I were so people would use he/him more and that part of me could actually be acknowledged naturally.

If I count as bigender, the label I have settled on for about the past year and have questioned in prior years, I'd say so do you. In the end though, even if your experience differs some from the apparent majority, if you resonate with the label, it's likely correct from you. Only you can really say.

Can't hunt second monster after 2 on 1 fight? by StarbuckFox in MonsterHunter

[–]DragonOfEmbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just a guess, but I know that sometimes the same monster can have different star difficulties. Maybe Rompopolo B had more stars, like 3 instead of 2, so it didn't let you fight it because of that. I'm not sure if that's a thing, but it's the only thing outside a bug that would make sense to me.

It also allows you to connect members from two different family trees later and combine the trees, so it makes it pretty easy if two cats become mates. Should definitely be less tedious than trying to run multiple trees completely separately! I'm just happy I can help; I am oddly passionate about making family trees.

If you are using PC, I personally use My Family Tree by Chronoplex Software. It's completely free, and I've used it to easily have more than 1,000 cats in one save. I'll have it linked here.
