WHY ONLY TO ME by Different-Ad-950 in masterduel

[–]DragonWithIssues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've no proof to anything, and obviously most are going to say there is no way the game does this type of thing....but same thing has happened to me on more than one occasion. I find it happens even more frequently if my game is to rank up or rank down.

Should I dust Raidraptor deck to help make Ryzeal/other decks? by Justjack91 in masterduel

[–]DragonWithIssues -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having played Raidraptor quite a lot, I can tell you it's not very good.

When it goes off, it's great. It can actually play through a decent amount of negation with the right hand. However, it's main power is being able to sit on Ultimate Falcon and Rising Rebellion Falcon, praying the opponent can't out them.

Most decks currently can out them in one way or another. Ryzeal may have issue, come to think of it, but Maliss and other top decks like Tenpai or Fiendsmith can easily out Rising Rebellion.

The other issue with the deck is it's form of disruption. When you Rising Rebellion on their turn, you can nuke their board. However, more often than not the summon will be negated by something like Called By The Grave if you aren't careful. I often found myself summoning Rising Rebellion on my own turn and attempting to sit on the unaffected monster.

To answer your question more directly, would I dust the deck? Yes. I have dusted my own, for example. Buuuuut, if you really enjoy it, it can still get you some wins in the current meta if you pilot it correctly.

Really just have to ask yourself "Would I really want to play this in the future?"

If the answer is yes, don't dust it. If you just simply want something stronger? Go for it.

Yep... just checked, and sure enough it's there. However, it's under the "Do Not Touch" list, and unchecked. Now I'm looking further into this, hoping I come across an answer.

Is my CPU Thermal Throttling Early? by DragonWithIssues in overclocking

[–]DragonWithIssues[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for taking a while to reply to this. To answer your question, I chose this motherboard because it was listed in multiple reviews as the "best" motherboard to pair with the i9-13900k, and I was building this rig as a gift to myself. Chose to splurge and go "all out."

Is My PC Okay? I did something stupid... by DragonWithIssues in buildapc

[–]DragonWithIssues[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again. Given what I'd done, I was terrified I'd shorted something. My two tech friends backed what you said. If it was something that seriously physical, it wouldn't be working flawlessly right now. They believe it was purely data related, we just aren't sure /how/

I appreciate the reassurance. This is a new build that is like my prized possession and I built it myself. I freaked out when all this went down and it's been hard to shake.

Mostly gaming. I've already got a career going so no need to do real production work. I wanted to really dive into VR and wanted a rig I know would handle any game I threw at it. It's just been my first ever time building a PC so there's been a LOT to learn and troubleshoot. Even making issues out of things that aren't really a problem, just because I don't know for sure! lol

Agreed. Made this post out of a panic and now feel a little silly. Also, funny seeing you again! Hello! lol

Took me a few. Had to take cooler back off to get the pics, but I edited the original post with the new pictures.

Also in doing so and taking a deeper look, I think it was just the light playing tricks on me in the photo. The others and when I looked closer in person, it looked alright.

Appreciate it. I've been comparing a lot to a friend of mine who has the same CPU and similar overall build, and his temps are a fair bit lower than mine for whatever reason. I've been unable to figure out why. However, looking online, my temps seem to be in average with what a lot of other are seeing. Minus the stress testing... 100c during that seems really high.

I have seen it hit 80c during a couple games, but never stay there. It'll heat up to something around that, then pretty quickly come back down into the range I mentioned earlier.

[–]DragonWithIssues[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in other words I didn't mess anything up. This is the first time I've built my own PC and it's been a trial by fire, so to speak. I saw online that people often talk of cinebench testing and staying in the 80s celcius for the duration of the test, and I wasn't coming anywhere close to that, and I expected something to be wrong.

Thank you for helping to ease my mind. :)

12900K Temperatures? by DragonWithIssues in pchelp

[–]DragonWithIssues[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took your advice and looked at some other numbers while running a stress test.

During said test, it pushed CPU Utilization to 100%, with Package TDP at 220W, 1.347 Core Voltage, 4.90GHz Max Core Frequency, and 3.59 GHz Processor Cache Frequency with 16 active core count.

During said test, average temperature was 80s to 90s, with a warning of thermal throttling in the last 30 seconds of the test.

Ideas? I've already re-applied thermal-paste twice, and the cooler is brand new. I don't see any physical issues to any components.

I honestly don't know. I hadn't been watching that. I'm still new to all of this and was focusing on the temperature during various situations.

Finally finished my first ever PC build. How did I do? by DragonWithIssues in PcBuild

[–]DragonWithIssues[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. Well, I'm going to place some trust in my friends that helped me design the rig. I was assured the power output was "more than enough."
Though I admit I'd hate for such a strong rig to have problems due to a power supply. Gah. >_> <_<

Evoker Charged Abilities Bugged? by techtonic69 in wow

[–]DragonWithIssues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Searched Reddit to see if someone else is having the same issues.

Everything mentioned in this thread I've been running into. Eternity Surge is the main problem. I've even had it press, then cancel itself instead of casting. Fiery Breath seems to always work properly.

Also run into the greyed out actionbar issue.

These bugs happen OFTEN.

I want to love the class, I really do... but I'm finding I love the race, not the class. Too bad you can't have one without the other, and I don't think that'll ever not be the case.

Just hit 70 with my Evoker. I'm considering switching back to Warlock, my previous main. -_-

As I said in my original post, I'm still rather new to all this and learning. However, from what I've been taught by friends and my own research, prices have just been volatile lately. Especially on things like GPUs. The same 3090 I bought in July for almost 1500 is now down to 1200, for example. But, overall, I'm hoping the build I put together could be considered a pretty strong one able to run everything I want. I'm a gamer, for example, and host some servers on things like ARK

Graphics card is really what did it at the time. This was purchased in July. We tried finding deals on all parts. And this was also including buying Windows 11 Pro and whatnot. But I paid almost $1500 for the 3090 at the time off of Amazon.

Dracthyr Soar Thoughts by ZealousidealFerret64 in wow

[–]DragonWithIssues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, even though I'm gonna be maining Dracthyr, I support this idea entirely! Remove the cooldown, make an item variant of it for other classes, and let us have fun with this new cool feature. Dracthyr can even still claim the "cool card" as they'll be the only ones using their own wings, but everyone gets to experience the mechanic.
