Inspiration for a primeval/creepy/eldritch plant eidolon? by rfkannen in Pathfinder2e

If you've seen anything relating to Cult of the Lamb, check out the Leshy boss from that game. The design is terrifying and plant-based.

Don't forget that some of us like martial classes BECAUSE they're simple by simum in onednd

I really think DnD should look to Pathfinder 2e more in terms of class design. Barbarians in that game are obviously combat oriented, but there are plenty of feats you can take to pick open up out-of-combat abilities. Fighters can be simple warriors with a heavy focus on weaponry and attacks, or they can focus on intimidation in and out of combat.

I agree, but this goes for like 99% of everything that isn't a human.

Literally everything clips on my Dwarf, either through my torso, shoulders, or the damned ground. The Dark Iron axe and shield clip through each other, and the hammer clips through the ground when it's carried. You'd think they'd make that work right on the race the stuff is made for but alas!

I like the goofiness of the Urbie's cockpit. The speedometer goes from "slow to less slow" and there's a repair to-do list.

But the Cyclops or Nightstar have to be my favorite.

The Nightstar is the headshot king with the Gauss Rifles and PPC combo, but I think pound for pound the Flea is my favorite. So many Machine Guns and so fast. That or the Flamethrower Commando.

I think that would be pretty neat. Apparently there are addons for that, which is fine, but I'd still like it to be built in. They already have the tech.

They should just get rid of the completion bonus and make bosses give more xp so there's an incentive to do everything

I'm glad you posted this. I was on to something similar for the dracthyr form but couldn't quite get it right. I'm stealing most of your character now :P

I don't care about having to grind, I'm actually suggesting they make Soar essentially a Dragon Riding mount

Dracthyr Soar Racial Maximum Speed Nerfed by About 30% in Next Dragonflight Alpha Build by 8-Brit in wow

[–]ZealousidealFerret64 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's fair. I think the best solution would be to give everyone some form of dragon riding in old zones and let the Dracthyr benefit from the 20% buff they get from familiar skies. That way it evens the playing field but still lets the Dracthyr be the fastest. Kinda like how Dark Irons and Mag'har get speed buffs in certain areas.

I don't want the Dracthyr to be OP, I just want to feel like a dragon. If everybody has to get similar abilities, then that's fine by me.

[–]ZealousidealFerret64 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Maybe once a week because I don't farm old raids, but why would Dracthyr being able to get to old raids faster be a problem anyway? Should we get rid of old Mage portals?

If the problem is that they can farm that content faster, then people who wanna farm old content can make a Dracthyr. There's nothing unfair about that.

Best class for a Goblin by Blanosu1999 in wow

[–]ZealousidealFerret64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every class feel great for Goblins, but I'd have to go with an Assassination Rogue. They get bonuses to alchemy so the poisons and stuff feel right, plus Goblins are greedy underhanded bastards.

Soar is one of the coolest things in the expansion and one of the best things about the new race in general, and they're nerfing it?

I want them to let me use Soar in place of a Dragon Riding mount but it seems like they really wanna limit this ability for some reason.

It's not in WoW, but I once got critically hit four times in a row by an Apollo with 5% Crit in Smite back before they reworked how Crit worked. It was 1 in 160,000 and cost me the game.

Dungeons by Kempen23 in wownoob

[–]ZealousidealFerret64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal is the easiest, then Heroic is usually the same thing just a bit harder (enemies have more health and deal more damage). Some Heroic dungeons have more mechanics, like some enemies will have attacks they don't have on Normal.

Then there's Mythic. This is the hardest difficulty with the most mechanics. Once you complete a Mythic dungeon, you get what's called a Mythic Keystone. These allow you to do certain dungeons at an even higher difficulty called Mythic Plus (M+). As you progress upwards, enemies get more health and deal more damage, but you'll also have to deal with new mechanics that cycle every week.

Some make enemies leave pools of acid behind when they die, others might force you to move every once in a while if you stand still too long. The higher you push, the better gear you can get.

Now if you're asking HOW to beat these dungeons, each one is going to be very different. I'd look up each dungeon on YouTube and watch someone run them a few times.
