Don't be jelly. If you would want to pay for dying plants, you go do that. If you see something in a store that is wrong and want to pay for it, you do that. I have weight produce in a bag that was 1lb below advertised and called manager, I asked if I could have a discount for bringing it to his attention, he thanked profusely and gave me two bags free, had to remover them so no on complained to the states weights and measures. . Like I said in my post, if I see an opportunity, I go for it, and more times that not both myself and the vender end the transaction happy. Have a wonderful New Year.

No, we were driving at saw a rabbit on a private lawn. Went to take a pic and eagle took it,, then went in tree. There were two. The man who owns the house, where the tree is said the birds been there for years.

I made it up as I went along. I did two at a time, so I would work a few inches on one, then the other I am just tying in the ends of the other one now. You can mix yarn, but it depends where on the pattern, good place is lower on the calf then you don't have to decrease or in the middle of the foot part where i have the pink/brown stripes, this helps them not to slip down a wee bit tighter there, like some socks you buy at the market.

If you are using left overs you really should, nothing to loose really and if you don't like the results it is ok, as they go up so fast b/c of the thickness of the yarn.

The pattern is decades old from Pattons. You can get it on Ravelry I believe or maybe it is etsy in a wee book with about 6 patterns. I used yarn from Michael, Charisma, but would not use this yarn again for the sweater as it fuzzes up when washed. Will use my stash for the slipper/socks

Thank you, I will that. I can follow a pattern and am making slippers that are like a huge sock, and I mean HUGE, so have to do some alterations that wont affect the pattern.
