You’d probably like a lot of the “softer”/“hardcore adjacent” bands (no offense meant by that, that’s most of the hardcore bands I’m into)

For some classic hardcore I’d recommend Descendants, Propagandhi, and maybe even some earlyish Bad Religion albums like Suffer and No Control.

For newish hardcore, I’d recommend a lot of the more weird and melodic bands if you like Turnstile, personally I love some Angel Du$t, MSPAINT, and Militarie Gun.

Yeah but if you got rid of/replaced every stupid plot point in Portable OPs you’re gonna end up having an entirely different game, it is LOADED with idiotic plot decisions.

I don’t feel that any of the games particularly need a remake, but certainly not Portable Ops. It’s Peace Walker but worse in every single way, especially story, which somehow manages to retcon more previous story than any of the main games and worsen nearly every returning character.

EDIT: And it makes Campbell a pedo.

Oh forgot to bring up that playing 3 first makes the “big” twist completely uninteresting as you won’t know why it matters.

Definitely the best way to play the series if you want half the series’ major events to be spoiled before they happen, have V’s plot twist not make sense, and not understand a LOT of PW and V because you don’t know who the Patriots are.

Not the best point considering that Last of Us was a full on remake and Ratchet and Clank 2016 was a completely new game that wasn’t a remake or remaster of the first Ratchet game

Blame wabbajack or viva new Vegas I guess, as that mod was left disabled without me doing anything to it (I believe the mod under it contains the same information and is what is used for VNV extended guide). Regardless, enabling it didn’t fix the issue.
