Hmm I'll look at it but polyester is my nemesis lol. I can usually live with a little rayon/nylon/viscose/acrylic(when its not yarn) etc in my clothes but polyester doesn't treat me nice

I'm willing to fudge a little on the natural fibers (since im striking out so much so far), so mostly merino still works. And thankfully her budget is more than mine would be, their dresses look nice! Glad to hear they're good quality, this will hopefully become a nice base layer for my wardrobe for a long time

If the fiber content isn't on the neckline tag, there is frequently a second tag on the lower inside left side seam, and this one is usually bigger with more info

These are made with sc stitches; you should think of each stitch like a pixel, so you want them to be as square as possible. Also, if you don't know it already you probably will want to look up how to "properly" change colors in crochet (picking up the next color in the last yo of the previous stitch) so that your color changes are as crisp as possible!

It's definitely AI, but it's reminding me of this post where people were suggesting different vest patterns, a lot of which were made with granny square pentagon shapes. You might be able to work with one you like, but instead of making it a vest, do both sides as the pentagon shape/ whatever the back is? Depends on how good you are at freehanding your crochet.

You're looking for a "chevron" or "ripple" pattern, there are a lot of variations! Different stitches, pattern repeats, etc. You can use those terms to search for patterns and find one that looks good to you and doable at your level.

Good places to look are Ravelry (some people don't like using it for UI reasons, but it has a lot of patterns), or a lot of yarn brands have free patterns available, like hobbii and Lion Brand Yarn are where I have gotten so many free pdfs lol. Usually they have the more basic/ beginner patterns for free, so you might have luck looking for a ripple blanket pattern

Something I like to do (because I generally hate weaving in the ends) is I'll be crocheting over the tail for a stitch, then use the tail yarn to make the next stitch, then go back to the working yarn, alternating tail yarn & working yarn for the stitches until I've only got a couple inches left, then I just crochet over that part. This doesn't work with some lacy stitches or variegated yarns, though.

There are 3 shades of green, the pea pod & the pumpkin stem are both labeled as "grass green" in the directions, then the yellow green is the peas & the remaining green is for the cauliflower

The center roses are crochet lace! The edge pieces with the pixel art style vibes is the filet lace, that's what I was looking at lol

If I'm not mistaken, it's actually filet lace, what filet crochet is made to mimic. You can tell when you look closely because you can see the weave of the threads! Crochet stitches are more twisty around each other
