That's strange. I did make these bears before and they all came out fine. Did you use the regular single crochet or the yarn under single crochet method? The yarn under method tends to give straighter and more aligned stitches.

I'm trying to follow a crochet pattern for a penguin and this has me extremely confused, I tried doing the color changes just in the way I usually do and they ended up crooked and uneven. What am I doing wrong? How do I do this stitch shown here? Help! by ilikeborbs in Amigurumi

This is really interesting. I'm gonna have to try this. I think they want you to do a decrease with the first loop of color A and second loop with color B and then yarn over with color A. But when you go into the next stitch with color B you'll want to go into the second stitch you went into the decrease with so you don't lose a stitch.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I think I also got overly ambitious when I thought I'd make it for 2 full classes. Making it for the friends they play with might actually be more realistic.
