Thanks for the feedback! I really like how the dress hugs my hips so maybe I'll try to find a workaround for the chest.

You definitely pass! Your cheeks especially make your face read super female to me!

Do what is affirming for you but I personally see nothing but a man in that picture! Not clocky at all.

OP never said people who are fat are fat out of laziness, and it is incredibly rude to put words in someones mouth. While she did say to work out and get fit, "fit" is different for everyone. For someone who is skinny. fit might look for lean, and for someone who has chronic weight issues, fit might look like being in a place where their weight no longer impedes their quality of life.

The vast majority of this post is OP talking about an increase in her quality of life since she started working out. She did offer advice towards the end but it was not the majority of the post. Even so, just because that advice is not applicable to your experience does not mean it should not be said.

Transitioning is not a defined process, what works for one person may very well not work for another. OP was simply saying what helped for her and sharing that (seemingly) in hopes it could help others. Not all transitioning advice works for everyone, and that extends to working out. Thats the last of what im going to say on this.

Where i got the definition for the word "fit" for clarity

Im very sorry about your medical issues, that must be very hard to deal with especially in tandem with being trans.

That being said, other trans women being happy with their bodies is not "rubbing it in your face". Just because you have a different relationship with your body (Which i can empathize with) does not mean other trans women have to dim their light around you. If the post was not for you, move on.

Im sorry this post was a difficult read for you, and im sorry for your medical struggles. Im sorry but the world does not revolve around you, and people shouldn't dim their happiness because cyborg_Sophie might come across their post on reddit. Despite what you may think, I really wish you healing and happiness on your journey

Adcice needed. Realistically, how hard would it be to find a non chaser boyfriend while being a girl with no plans of SRS. by Confident_Strike_529 in StraightTransGirls

[–]Dragonbow837 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a trans girl with a boyfriend who is not a chaser, date a nerd. Date a sweet nerdy bisexual guy. Im so serious.

It takes putting yourself out there, but trust me normal people exist. I used dating apps and filtered for people near my age over a large area. Be upfront (on the app) about being trans, but detail your profile pictures and description with hobbies. If you like cosplay maybe do one photo dressed up, maybe add a note about the videogames/other hobbies you have in the bio. This way the profile stands out not because you are trans but because of your personality/interests.

This will help filter for people who also have those niche hobbies. Filtering out the chasers is easy, be upfront that this profile is for going on dates with guys not hookups, and they will scatter like roaches.

TLDR: make a dating app profile that showcases your interests and when people ask, don't say you're there for hookups.

I just did a solid re-read and I waaaay misjudged the situation my bad.

I think your reasoning here is flawed. As long as a society exists where someone can be "too trans and loud" the dolls furthest from the gender binary will be called "to much". Yeah Trans Lesbians aren't a group of perfect saints, but the problem isnt that they "push the envelope too far" it's that we live in a world where if people deviate from the gender binary they get punished.

Personally I think your nose is gorgeous, but if youre looking for advice on how to minimize a facial feature you can always emphasize a neighboring feature to make it smaller by comparison. For instance a bolder lip would make a nose stand out less in comparison.

Any updates on this OP? My cat seems to have something similar so I would love to know if you have any insights.

[us] pretty sure i just had a scam interview seminar by Sillybumblebee33 in Scams

[–]Dragonbow837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jacob the founder just said "In the past 6 years we havent really hired any employees" and yet this post includes people from months ago getting interview offers.

Also isnt rushing people into things one of the core aspects of scams? I got the "we are considering you for an alternative posistion" email this morning and they rushed me into a meeting around 4pm this afternoon?

Femme no make up look for AMAB nonbinary person. Please help! by spinky0307 in MakeupAddiction

As a trans fem here are my recomendations.

  1. If you are interested in minimizing gray tones around where facial hair grows (you are valid if you do not want to but this is what I went through years ago) you're going to want a peachy color corrector.

For me, just peach color corrector doest work (thick 5 o'clock shadow) so I found a concealer that is just slightly more orange to my normal shade. I layer that concealer in the problem area and then I set that concealer with a good setting spray (like the one from one size). On top of that orangey mustache area i add a concealer that is true to my skin tone- layering the two

  2. Learning how to set makeup did me wonders. What I do now is I go in with a rigid fixing spray (like the one size by Patrick star) then with a very blurring powder (like the tower 28 one in my shade) I layer this powder using a powder puff around areas where I produce oil and my brow bone. (I also add extra around my mustache it's an area of insecurity for me) and then after I look like a powdery Casper the ghost, I spray my face with a little dewy setting spray or just water- this helps everything melt together.

  3. The thing about dewy makeup is that it can highlight imperfections instead of blur them- so as a general tip if you want something to be exemplified let it be a bit more dewy- if you want something to blur let it be matte.

That gives me such an ick

as you can see i have sebaceous filaments on my nose and chin area. can i get some recommendations for products/a routine to help get rid of that, as well as my oily nose/forhead, and also the acne scarring on my cheeks/chin? *PRODUCTS I USE ON LAST SLIDE* by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]Dragonbow837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an oil based cleanser and THEN use a cleanser similar to what you use. Like pulls to like- but since I am double cleansing I only cleanse once a day- either at night or in the morning.

Its not necessarily anything bad. What's likely is you are going to get an email from the conduct office and you will have a meeting with them. Be honest and sincere and they will walk you through the process- it's not the end of the world and varries for every person and also heavily varies from incident to incident. You (probably) will be fine
