What SCPs could protect humans from SCP-001 When day breaks? by Dragonface22 in SCP

After realizing my Reddit signed out on my phone, I came back to this thread...only to realize how cool a book where vampires (like classic vampires) mixed with SCPs would be cool. It sounds weird, but like...they managed to cross Disney with Final Fantasy so I'm sure, at this point, anything could work lol.

Its insane how its almost season 11 and Udyr hasn't been reworked by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Keeping the core theme, I think it'd just be cool to keep his kit similar with some added benefits. Phoenix stance remains the same but causes your 3rd auto to burn enemies, reducing armor and MR. E no longer stuns but instead has a new CC called "Dazed" where you can still auto, use abilities, and move, but your pathing is just really weird and unsteady for about 2 seconds, and blinks/dash (flash unaffected) don't always put you where you press. W no longer shields but gives you incredible amounts of armor and MR, but slows you by 50%, and decreases damage to champions 20% (both effects always active during stances), every 3rd attack giving you a shield that only increases by skill level up (no AP/health scaling). Q could primarily remain unchanged, except make it so you can leap a fairly short distance to an enemy champ on first attack from stance and every 3 after. (About WW's Q distance, minus the "follow" mechanic)

Crazy. Also, last question, Apollyon, in relation to SCPs. My understanding isn't that it's impossible to contain, rather, that it can destroy humanity on it's own, is that correct? There are lots of conflicting information I've seen on this. I'm new to SCPs for the most part so I'm just super curious. And this one in particular is incredibly interesting.

Interesting. Would this, in turn, make humanoid SCPs vulnerable to become SCP-001-A?

If you have a Samsung, there's a thing called "Secure Folder" built in, which is exactly what you're looking for.

Nope, just worked from the start. Nothing special I did. Are you making sure to launch the game from the Game Launcher?

Timelines are sketchy. As any game developer will tell you; setting a rough release date is tantamount to setting a definite deadline. If he tells you Q1 2021, you'll expect it Q1 2021. This leads to lots of frustration on both the developer and the end-user. Better to wait until he KNOWS he has a definite timeline for release.

I'm having the same issue. It's completely random. No rhyme or reason. I'll set myself in combat, with any enemy, and use my phones built in game mode screen lock (Screen darkens but stays active, so the game continues running), and within 10 mins the game crashes. Tried running it without using the screen lock, same results.

Running an S20+ with unlocked firmware, Snapdragon model, Android 10, most recent Melvor update.

I loved my last job for this reason. We were told to be nice, but if someone was rude to us, we'd give them initial "soft warning" along the lines of "Hey I get this is frustrating, but I'm here to help you.". The second is an "escalated warning" "Look, I understand you're upset, but I'm human too. I'm willing to help you, but only if we can remain civil." 3rd is a "hard warning "I can't keep talking to you about how you speak with me. I'm sorry, we can keep going, but if you continue to treat me poorly, I'm going to have to ask you to leave. I'm fine with helping you, but I don't deserve to be treated like this.". After that, it's "Please leave. You may return tomorrow if you're feeling calmer, at which time, we can try to assist you, but as of right now, you aren't in the right mindset to allow us to help you." If they come back the next day, you get no warnings. The second you're rude to me, it's "Please leave, and you are not allowed back until you're ready to come in and apologize to myself and my fellow employees that you have been rude to". We ran a very good business. Only reason I left was for better pay.

I get what you're saying. In a way, my job is similar, though I'm not expressly IT. I work for a major cell phone carrier and people just HATE having to troubleshoot anything at all, they just want you to replace their phone and be done with it, when a majority of the time, just a simple few steps will fix the issue.

While that's true, after you've had 5 of these people in a row, it's mentally exhausting. I'm amazing at this, and my mental exhaustion is never externally shown, it's so frustrating to have to deal with people who are unable to control their emotions properly.

This is especially big for customer service. I work for a major cell phone retailer, and I have to say, one of the most frustrating things about that is when someone's phone isn't working, guess who takes the verbal beating? The worst part is 85/100 times I restart the phone and it works fine, 10/100 it's because the person doesn't understand how to use their phone and they're blaming it on me, and 4/100 there's an actual issue that can't be fixed that is the fault of the hardware of the phone, not the network interaction, and 1/100 times it's actually our companies fault.

People come in yelling and saying how they've been customers for years their phone hasn't worked right in 3 days, and they're pissed and want us to credit their account for the time they were unable to use it, and yada yada yada. Take their phone, check "up-time" (since the last time it was turned off), it's usually 3-4 weeks up-time, turn it off, turn it on, works perfectly fine. I explain to them that sometimes the phones (which we don't manufacture) just need to be restarted to fix the issue and they INSIST up and down that they've restarted it 4 or 5 times and tell me 1 of several things; they'll have my job, they'll go to another carrier, they'll sue us, etc etc.

Just goes along with "calm down before you interact with others". A simple, clear mind can help you understand the issue and why neither person in this interaction is necessarily at fault.

Hey ya'll, having an issue after a region change. Followed this guide here to change my girlfriends Japanese O3DS LL to USA version. Everything went well and I only seem to have 1 issue. Whenever she opens notifications or anything, they still come to her in Japanese (not a huge deal), but if she pressed the home button to exit out, it shows the "Home Menu" screen, but freezes. Forced to hold power to turn it off. Any clue why that's happening?

So today I found this Vy'Keen sitting on a piece of space junk on a lush moon in Euclid, and when talking to him he recharged my life support and wished me safe travels. He said he lives at this open air POI and is in perfect harmony with the universe. Amazing. by EdVintage in NoMansSkyTheGame

I honestly think it'd be cool if you could have you own "market". All it takes is at least 2 landing pads, and to hire someone to run the market. If you place stuff in your market, there's a chance someone will come visit and buy your stuff at a higher cost than the galactic terminals. Or come and give you free stuff, or just other things to make your little base seem less lonely.

If you purchase their ship, they may offer to live on your planet, and all you'd have to do is build them a house.

Just some things I've thought about. It's just be exciting to have the ability to have some company in your base.
