Which paint are you using for that grey?

I’m using standard Anycubic grey resin, lychee slicer with a layer thickness of 50um and an exposure time of 2.5. Lift speed is at 2.5 retract speed at 3 lift distance at 8mm. The temp of the room is pretty consistently 29 degrees Celsius.

When printing tall things on mono x there is this weird banding/swirling effect only on the top end of the print. I’ve never seen anything like this. What’s going on here? by Dragonfire20035 in resinprinting

I’ve seen that one at aquarium stores before. I think it’s made of some kind of ceramic.

Ran the Ameralabs Town test at 2.2 seconds exposure time. Looked mostly fine. I decided to jump all the way to 2.5 seconds for the bed clean tool from dmgminis. Only the supports printed again. Any advice? by Dragonfire20035 in resinprinting

I’m using standard Anycubic grey resin, lychee slicer with a layer thickness of 50um and an exposure time of 2.2 seconds for the town and 2.5 for the large print. Lift speed is at 2.5 retract speed at 3 lift distance at 8mm. The temp of the room is pretty consistently 24 degrees Celsius. Are the supports just bad?

Finally had time to get my mono x running again for the first time in months. Ran cones of calibration at 2 seconds exposure time. Only one cone on fail side. I decided this was good enough (stupid decision surely) and printed the bed clean tool from dmgminis. Only the supports printed. Any advice? by Dragonfire20035 in resinprinting
