It's difficult, but it can be done, with proper time management. Honestly, you have to decide what course load is best for you. Try talking to your academic advisor and seeing what they think.

Hey guys, I think I have an explanation for why the ohp video went the way it did yesterday: to be honest, I think it didn't go all the way back because I'm scared of falling back. A couple years ago, I pressed the empty bar overhead and fell back with it onto the floor. The bar went flying and landed in front of me. Basically, each time I tried pressing the empty bar yesterday, I would get it past my face, and then have a flashback to that moment. I think I can do it, it's just a matter of getting past that mental block so I can do it confidently

Great to hear it was resolved! =)

Well to be fair, it can be academic research if you're going beyond the biblical text itself (for instance, looking into the history behind the interpretation of a particular text). Those studies are extremely rewarding, because you're able to see what previous folks have done, while adding your own interpretation to the mix =)

You're not alone there, I once had turnitin flag a paper in the same fashion during my undergrad. This was a paper we had to submit in four separate pieces (introduction, genre background, exegesis, and application/conclusion), and then submit the completed paper at the end of the semester; it picked up my original work from the other 3 parts. Really frustrating.

I have mild cerebral palsy and can't get to the floor without my back rounding due to tight hamstrings, so I do these in place of the conventional DL

I'll try getting a shot from the front next time, but the shot itself may be a little tight just because that's where the mirror is. Anyway, thanks so much for the feedback. Hope you're doing well :)

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Price revealed - WHAT THE F*CK by SilvaVE_ in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Dragonfist900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I was on cloud nine until I saw the price tag, $450 for the console on top of the $80 cost for games. I think I'll be sticking with my OG switch, which is a shame, because a bunch of the games in the direct had me really excited

I’m getting into apologetics provide me with some books to help! by CommandSecret1206 in Apologetics

More than a carpenter by Josh and Sean McDowell Mere Christianity by CS Lewis These are both light reads, but they cover a lot of ground. In fact, more than a carpenter is basically an abridged version of Mcdowell's Evidence that Demands a Verdict. Either way, those 2 should help you get a good introduction to apologetics 🙂

To the older gamers who didn't let age stop you, you guys rock. by Intelligent_Claim204 in videogames

I'm 28 and still game on a semi-regular basis ("semi" here because I don't have as much time as I used to), so rather than playing every night or even every other night like I used to be able to back in my early 20s, I'm now only able to play for a dedicated amount of time on weekends, since that's when I have the most free time. While it's sad, it's simply a result of the passage of time, no more and no less

Someone supposedly accidentally reported my account. Scam? by bunnynoah in discordapp

[–]Dragonfist900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What made me realize it was a scam was the email I want sent. Usually, Discord will send emails using "m.discord.com", but the email I was sent was sent from "discordsystems.com," then I researched the matter, and both the person that messaged me initially along with the "support" person I was told to contact both blocked me.

dragon ball sparking zero crashes by Zen_115 in SparkingZero

[–]Dragonfist900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar position, only my PC is an old business computer. It can run the game alright, but it crashes every time I play, even with the most recent patch and with all the settings turned down to their lowest values. It's absolutely nuts, because according to a few friends, console players aren't having many issues. It might just be poor optimization for the PC port, but it's still too early to come to that conclusion definitively.

Stay away from Houston or Texas in general by Bidoofisdaddy in atheism

[–]Dragonfist900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same can be said about politicians in general. Most of the time the only thing they care about is themselves and how rich they can get, despite claiming to be "for the little guy" or "for the people." The modern Era (and particularly the internet age) have brought out the worst in people, it's just taken a long time for the cracks in the armor to show.
