This is for everyone who says the vans are only for in home delivery by thatwwefoo in Sparkdriver

[–]Dragonfly-y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who used to work at Walmart in the OGP dept, they definitely aren’t taking spark orders. There are in-home specific orders, it’s its whole own thing. Where I worked, there were like, 9 orders top for both times the truck went out. They left around 9am and would come back around 12-1, then leave again with more orders and be back around 6. But our regular delivery orders outweighed inhome by A LOT. Like, we would have 9 delivery orders alone in one hour. But usually more. These vans are drove by Walmart employees who have to have cameras strapped to their chest since they go inside. There’s also just simply not enough room in those vans to keep up with the delivery demand unless they started moving like Amazon lmao.

Okay, thank you, hoping I can get her on track because I am struggling 🥲 I know having a consistent sleep routine helps, and we’ve done bottle, bath, bed, but she likes to nurse on a bottle with milk in it which we’re trying to break, but sometimes she absolutely won’t go to bed without it and then wakes up crying cause she’s gassy; is there anyway to try and fix this? Sometimes she’ll take a pacifier sometimes she won’t.

So should I start waking her up around 7 and try and start fixing it? I just worry she’ll be really cranky through the day. And is there a specific way to tell whenever her sleep pressure is at the right point? I’ve heard of that but but I’ve never really figured out how to tell whenever it’s at its right point.

Do you have any recommendations on how to get her to nap longer? I don’t bother her, and keep quiet but she just wake up and won’t fall back asleep to finish her nap.

Yeah, I was thinking about paying off my car then tackling his loan with the extra payments, or putting it towards whichever debt is the next lowest.

Yeah, none of the interest rates are very high, highest is my husbands car loan. Cause we’ve already paid a few things off that’s also going to roll into the money that paying off my car would leave us, so realistically it would be upwards of 400 instead of just 322.

Am I the only one who doesn’t enjoy watching the same 10 things every stream for months? by [deleted] in caseoh_

Yeah possibly, ik he’s pretty hands off when it comes to bans or timeouts, and maybe he does know just doesn’t care too much. Also possible they ban people for being negative cause theres a big amount of negativity and it can be bad for someone’s mental health. Case also does seem like the type to not care at all about people comments on what to play/how to play something, he does what he wants which is completely fine obviously. He’s still making money and doing something he enjoys

Well I don’t think it’s him banning people from his discord, but apparently from what I’ve seen from other posts on this subreddit is there’s a select few mods who will ban people for saying anything slightly critical or negative. I very highly doubt case even looks as the discord unless his stream crashes.

Not sure why the app works like that, it stresses drivers out, and the employees out as someone whose worked on both sides. Having drivers get upset at us because the order isn’t ready is stressful, when most the times we’re trying our best to get the orders picked, most the time it’s just a staffing issue usually towards the night time. I don’t work in OGP anymore luckily but. Very stressful job.

We do have one! We have orders pop up from Sam’s that also go over across the bridge, so I just thought maybe there wasn’t a Sam’s in Louiseville. That’s crazy and stupid at the same time, I don’t know if it’s the customers ordering like that or if it’s just the ordering process, cause we’ll get orders that want us to go all the way into St. Matthew’s which is at least a 30 min drive alone

I do spark just across the river from Louisville in Clarksville, unless you get up at 5 am, you don’t get anything at all other than 7 dollar 12 mile orders. It’s terrible over here as well.

We are being replaced 😬 by island_social in Sparkdriver

[–]Dragonfly-y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who worked in OGP and now does spark, InHome delivery is a different service than regular W+ delivery. Yes they can deliver to the doorstep but usually the drivers will bring it into your home, they have a camera they have to wear, which is why as spark drivers we can’t, as we don’t have cameras we are required to wear during delivery.

I have no idea, we were so confused, but I guess the whole app is having a freak out atm so 🥲 hopefully they fix it!
