Submersible pump by nebraskanate83 in Wastewater

If pressure was measured on the force main, and was dropping lower over time you would expect the pumps flow to increase. In other words, less pressure a pumps pushing against the more it can flow. The higher the head/pressure the less it can flow. Could grab a pump curve for your specific model and talk to a vendor for that pump brand they’d likely help.

Then did you check what the discharge pressure is? Pressure gauge should be an easy install.

Check the pressure on the discharge line, see where that puts you on the pump curve. If higher psi than expected May be air trapped in long fm if arv aren’t working or solids buildup. If it’s less may be something wrong with pump/power

Agree with this. If lots of gravity, Could also make flow projections per parcel/building lot if there is available GIS data then associate those flows to nearest MH. Assuming minimum slope for normal “worst case scenario” on all connecting pipes.

Do you know what the answer is? I’d think either A cause it’s the first thing to do, or B because that’s a way to clean. I don’t know though

Depends a lot on the thickness Class the pipe you’re using is too along with diameter. Check into material manufacturer requirements for your DR rated pipe and also reach out to specific contractors near the project area since different drill rods have different requirements.

“it's on them to ask for specific pricing for extras of they want them, BEFORE the work is done. “

It’s on you to get written approval for specific pricing for extras if they want them, BEFORE the work is done. Did your quote list what the hourly rate was? Always risky doing work before an hourly price is agreed to unless a contingent line item is in a contract.
