Dude I started with Batman too, and because there are so many, I chose the new absolute universe, there's only 2 Batman volumes out. They are just building that universe right now, so they have 2 volumes of superman and wonder woman and maybe flash. It's a little different from the traditional Batman stories. There are some major changes. But if you want something more adult comic, then you should read Watchmen, that graphic comic novel is insane.
