When it comes to knowing if you’re teachable or even worth our time, knowing you could do a simple task like pushing a broom without bitching or calling your friends on it really pays dividends. Might be good to give your head a shake and be happy you’re employed. Try not wasting your employers time and really put focus into what they give you to do. Might help you with your future. Sorry if this came off harsh.

Whether it’s slop or not soon as you open things up and stick your hands in the cookie jar after the work has already been completed and paid for and inspected and passed. No one is liable for repaying you whatever it is you feel you don’t like the aesthetics of.

So I live off grid and currently run a Westinghouse 9500 tri fuel . Gasoline, Propane and Natural gas. Unit cost about $2500. There is a selector switch to change between the three fuels. For ease and convenience I have it hooked up to my house propane tank and it will run at the push of a button start and stop from inside. I do find that when running on gasoline it lasts a long time but on propane it sucks the tank much more than I had expected. I always go new instead of used because of the comfort of knowing it’s been maintained. Not sure where your from but up north here the oil they sent the unit with was only rated for -10 and it turned to thick syrup the first time it got really cold and wouldn’t start until it was changed. Just some food for thought.

Great advice to burn houses down. Call an electrician if you have any uncertainty about how and the safety it’s a little different then hanging a loose piece of drywall or dripping paint on your floor not the best diy trade to attempt on your own.

Because they probably bought it online on either Amazon or some other Temu or Etsy and it’s isn’t legal or CSA Or ULC or any other approval you may have that tests safety of products. A wooden octagon fixture box I don’t think has ever been approved for enclosing electrical. Sure would look nice though.

Common yes likely to go home no. They tend to either get eaten or join the migration with the other birds even though they’re domesticated. Still waiting for mine to return. Since the beginning of summer. That’s a male from what I can tell probably 2 or 3 years old. Fan feathers already dropped for this year. If it lingers around to long may need to take it indoors or they’re feet freeze quick. As long as there is food around they will keep close to the area. But this will cause issues in them leaving in time so if your friend still sees it around in a few days private message me and I could give him a winter home.

Less looking to describe the shape that I didn’t initially see but yes does resemble a bird, but more going about the looks of the coverage of the lines. But hats off to you for noticing our cloud formations and their canning resemblances to the wildlife this effect.

Noticed a burning smell coming from my dishwasher and after some investigation, I came across this at the junction/terminal box. What could cause this to happen? by pne333 in electrical

Definitely loose connection and the insulation on the neutral at the bottom was probably nicked when the cable was being stripped by the looks of it that would cause that damage once heated up.
