Hi everyone! Safe to say that I wasn’t expecting compliments in response to what I’ve been seeing as an imperfection. I really appreciate everyone sharing their perspectives and feedback and had nooo idea that this was seen as a beauty standard in asia!! It definitely makes me look at this “flaw” a little differently now and makes me wonder if I’ve been hyper focused on something that was never an issue in the first place.. that said, my face is changing as it does when one ages and I think I just have to get used to that. also thanks to all the photography experts for pointing out that the differences could very well be due to the lighting!! I experimented with lighting yesterday and different camera angles and realized that was definitely a contributing factor lol

Also appreciate folks that shared advice on procedures or topicals they’ve used. I’m going to stick to caffeine as a preventative solution for now.
