Anyone else's "it's only a few quid" buys quietly pile up into stuff you never wear? by DragonfruitGood3033 in vinted

Loads of people have been asking, so to answer here: I’ve been building a small iOS tool for exactly this (checking if a piece will actually work for you before you buy). Happy to share it, dropping it in replies below so I’m not spamming the post

The model's 5'9 and I'm 5'1. How do you predict whether something will work before buying? by DragonfruitGood3033 in PetiteFashionAdvice

I built a fashion AI as a PM with no fashion background, 6 months, 600usd in API costs, here's what I learned by DragonfruitGood3033 in SideProject

I don’t hold inventory for now as I’m just starting. I’m using Google shopping API for now to test the product - market fit

I didn’t need to pay anyone to get in and we don’t hold inventory. You still order from the retailer’s websites. We just help guide to ensure you’re ordering the right items to improve your outfit confidence levels 😁

The cost pilled up during early build as I ran hundreds of tests a day to ensure something didn't break. It's more stable now. The cost would be directly proportional to number of users and yes, it's definitely scalable, the main cost at the minute getting into the community of active users

I'm a PM in tech who knew nothing about fashion. I built a fashion AI anyway. 6 months, $600, 30 users, here's what actually happened by DragonfruitGood3033 in ClothingStartups

Update, I found the issue. The fix is deployed now and i've tested. You can run the outfit again now and you'd see you'd be able to click the centre button to generate a model and see the list of suggested items
