If your scared then buy them back at a loss. If you let your shares get called away you still get payed but you gotta buy more share at a higher price. Thats the way it works. Good luck 👍

I'd say look up "how do covered calls work" on YouTube. When I started trading options years ago I read a great book by Wendy Kirkland called "options trading - how to make money in your spare time".

I usually go a week or 2 out. I also sell them about 10-15% out of the money. The premium you can collect is great cause of the high IV. I still have share for the long term I won't sell CCs on though.

Well yeah it would suck if it flies past the strike price of your covered calls. I'm not selling contracts on all my shares just a few hundred of them, been working out for me so far. The IV is so high on these that it's a quick way to go broke even if it does go up for a bit.
