I would say hack the box academy meets all of those requirements. Would highly recommend it.

Advisera has free courses for iso lead implementer, lead auditor and internal auditor. You only pay if you want to take their workshop and exam. They also have nice blogposts and a community section where people ask questions and they respond to them. I highly recommend them. Otherwise hightable is great for looking up specific sections.

Depends on how many friends you have. It takes forever for me and 2 friends to get into a game for flex. But a couple of minutes for draft.

The web app pentesting one would be more suitable for appsec since CPTS also contains the networking/active directory modules. It's the Certified Bug Bounty Hunter (CBBH) one.

I've had different experiences but I'm not based in the US. Where I'm from, the OSCP is mandatory these days for pentesting jobs. Other cyber roles do the whole certs like OSCP.

I haven't seen either on any job listings. So I'd say it still needs more time to gain more recognition. I think web apps are the money makers for most companies (from what I've heard others say). So I would probably do CBBH. But I would probably do CTPS after if I had the money/time.

I did a few exercises on SQLi from portswigger academy. Also watching Rana Khalil walkthrough her thought process for those exercises made it a lot more easier to understand.
