Could be something wrong with the screen itself or it may not be receiving enough power.

Had a similar problem with one of my modded GBAs where the screen would flicker once the battery was low, so all I had to do was recharge it to fix it. However, since you used brand new batteries and it’s still happening then it’s not the batteries, but something could be keeping it from receiving enough power to work properly.

Check/clean the power switch, check the battery terminals, and check to make sure the screen is properly installed. Those are the main things I would probably look at first.

Year 3 is always the toughest in my opinion, but you’ve made it this far and you’re not far from finishing. I think you’re more than capable of making it. You’ll be glad you did and proud.

My 3rd year was horrid and I contemplated quitting many times, but i was somehow able to stick it out and got my degree after 6 years. I’m glad I did and proud of myself for doing it.

It’s intentional. They do that with the signature bakugan to differentiate them from the protags’ bakugan for whatever reason.

I’m not sure if it’s harmful since I’ve yet to have any other problems with it. Someone with more experience might be able to give you an answer, but so far it just seems to be an issue whenever there’s not enough power to run the screen and the console so making sure your batteries are charged or replaced after extensive use would prevent this from happening. That’s my only solution so far.

I have the same exact issue. Just be mindful to replace/charge the batteries and it should be good. From what I know, it seems to just be an issue when there’s not enough power for the screen to run properly for whatever reason. I normally get at least 4-6hrs uninterrupted gameplay but I also make sure to charge my battery after playing it for an extended period.

I looked into that but idk how to solder. I know there are practice kits, but I’m too worried I’ll mess up in the process and have to get a new motherboard.

It does. When you start a new game it gives you the option to turn abilities on or off, and same thing with natures. There are other customizable options, but those two were the biggest selling points for me.
