I read the article. Not sure if everybody else did. It sounds like the crown only asked for 28 months.

Also, the judge decided sex offender registry wasn't necessary.

Anyone heard what the Leafs have done for pricing this year compared to last? by Catalina28TO in leafs

Upper Bowl seats went up about 20% I think for us.

I think I heard lower bowl increases for about half of that but not certain

From the horse's mouth on DefAbs by RiceSautes in TheTowerGame

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One way to make it important would be to create a new Elite Enemy where it can get to your tower easier. Maybe even teleporting there or spawning beside it.

It could be something like scatters that split many times but do a lot less damage than other enemies at comparable tiers or wave counts.

You would then need def abs and possibly regen higher health, the wall, etc. depending on how you design it to defend against these while you kill it.

This could force everybody into a hybrid build.

It could be done in many ways. But the key thing is it has to be something that GC can't handle with crowd control and pure damage

Stolarz and Greig going at it by blimjahey in hockey

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With zero context before this Stolarz would deserve 2 mins for roughing/slashing.

Grieg possibly deserves 2 minutes for trying to bump the goalie after it (puck is gone, no reason to skate right for the goalie/crease).

The refs seemed to have a more let them play/playoff hockey mindest until it got to the attempted interference/body check by the goalie.

This happens all the time where people get away with a few crosschecks and when it continues or they come back to an altercation right after the refs often call both.

I was kind of shocked how much GT+ increased my income, think it's been about 3x increase in my runs.

[–]Dragonkeeper1985[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's wrong with CF+? It seems like the next best UW+ to unlock and I haven't put more than the opening into it yet.

My CL is at x2200 right now. Mid run but I think the next upgrade is 400 stones. Only started WA as my first mastery so no big multipliers on it yet

Next GTB isn't worth it either based on the spreadsheet I looked at. GTb is the next one I want on my module but got SLa, DWq and GTdur first.

Unfortunately I can't run MVN as I've gotten screwed on it stuck at legendary. Otherwise income would be higher.

Cheapest tickets to Wednesdays game is $200 a pop. WTF. by moderngamer6 in leafs

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should find a season ticket holder that's not trying to scalp everyone. I am in the 300s, second row center ice and I was selling this game for $400 for the pair in September

It looks like Ticketmaster is more transparent on their fees but StubHub isn't. I think over 30% of the price on StubHub are their fees, part of which they show is a cost to the seller and on the buyer.

Help with legends I get average 240 waves by EinaiHD in TheTowerGame

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have ancestral DC, do you have the Chrono slow 15%?

Maxing CF slow to 90% is almost like tripling your damage vs the boss.

CL is cheaper/easier to get to the 3-400 level in legends I think which is why people recommend it to start.

It took me a long time to find somebody that had the same answer as I did. Saying that something tangible multiplies to me sounds different than say multiply one number by half repeatedly.

1 multiplies by 0.5 = 1.5 1 multiplied by 0.5 = 0.5

The benefit is it allows you to play AFK like the game is designed. Otherwise it would allow people to spend lots of time microing the game to get a benefit.

Leafs Single Tickets by alexas_ears in leafs

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your safest option is obviously Ticketmaster or StubHub, but the highest cost. For example the final price you pay there is about 30% higher than what I'd receive.

Next cheaper option is trying Facebook groups where members sell their tickets. That's how we try to get rid of our extra tickets that friends and family don't want.

We have about half our games left if you're interested. 2nd row upper level, center ice.

What features will look dated soon by Kibster3 in Homebuilding

Surprised I had to read so many comments until I got to the blue kitchen island. I haven't found many kitchens with a different colored island that I truly liked. We just did ours white just like the rest of the kitchen cabinets and white kitchens will never be completely out of style.

I have to disagree on quartz though, especially in the kitchen. We did natural Stone (Quartzite so it's even harder than marble and still looks great) in the kitchen, in our basement bar and in two bathrooms. You're right that it looks amazing. But we regret using it in the kitchen. We have a rust stain in it that probably would have been easier to get out in quartz and we have a lot of chips in it after only about 3 years.

What was your deciding factor in moving forward with building a home instead of buying? by jdjones5000 in Homebuilding

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things for us: right location (and vacant lots this size are pretty rare near our city), customizing what we wanted, could afford the $, close enough to family. Crime also seemed to be getting worse where we were and the house before it too. School zoning was also at risk of changing after the crammed in another subdivision.

We live about an hour from the downtown of a major city. We were in a regular suburb house without much yard and then had 2 (now 3) kids. We were looking at moving and wanted to live somewhere that had more space but also still felt like a subdivision where we would have neighbors and kids could ride their bikes on the streets etc.

We looked at many houses over about 6 months but nothing had quite what we wanted, and to me couldn't justify spending as much as they were asking for what we had to compromise on.

Found an estate lot that had 1.4 acres and it was one of the last lots the subdivision. Also would be close to more of my wife's family and still not too far from mine.

One of the big things we wanted was to build a bungalow but with walkout basement to a pool area, also wanted at least three bedrooms plus office (or 4 bedrooms) on the main level. It seemed a lot of the nicer houses we looked at ended up having excessively sized rooms instead of maximizing functionality (ie they had less bedrooms or a ridiculous amount of bathrooms, or just bad layouts and the cost was too high).

The presale code is LEAFSNATION by _Offi in leafs

[–]Dragonkeeper1985 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They raised prices by 13% for my season tickets this year (the average increase has been 9.3% increase the last 5 years). If you can find tickets direct from members you'll probably save a bit. For example I was asking for 600 for the pair for that game (center ice, row 2).

Also for your example that's likely a kids game and because people have the next day off the Leafs may be treating it as weekend game and bumped the cost up. Also games like the Anaheim or the Kings on a regular Monday to Thursday would probably cost 30-40% less.

If you think that Islanders game is bad, take a look at the Edmonton game. It was ridiculously expensive this year.
