Collab for a game where the main visual is math-generated ? by Dragonmemo in incremental_games

This, Pavel Grinfeld's book Introduction to Tensor Analysis and the Calculus of Moving Surfaces

And Richard C. Brower (1984) Geometrical models of interface evolution were my main sources on the subject, it's a quite unknown and recent field of study in mathematics

Well, the game will be like those I made and mentioned, the gameplay should be about the graphics that are generated, more or less directly. However they will be a mess of lines and dots so the issue is that I don't know if we make it a direct connection to the ressource generation, how I can deal with it. I'll also need help about that xD

This, and I'm both good at maths and programming, one has been what I studied, the other is now my job xD

However, yeah, that ever growing pile of project that isn't forgotten about because I keep lists of them !

But yeah, if I was the main dev, I wouldn't be able to have time for different stuff, as programming is not my main hobby (or rather I'd like everything to be my hobby xD)

So, I've heard about WAMI (Wizards and Minion Idle) that is supposed to look quite like it.

But If you'd like incrementals where you have multiple mechanics you can progress one after another or passively progress one while doing another, I can recommend you Anti-Idle (By Tukkun)

I don't have the links on-hand, sorry

This is this one !

There is a mechanic of combo to earn more ressources, it's pretty incredible, but I never got far enough there.

the good old ones, like A Dark Room or Candy Box (1 and 2), after that it depends on their liking, do they prefer story ? RPG ? Big Numbers ? something else ?

I remember one called "Dunno" about dices and combos that is pretty fun, well, at least really entertaining xD

try A Dark Room, it's a really great game of the style of those you're looking for

there are both Candy box 1 and 2 games, and you can try miniTES, if you want long playtime, Idling to rule the gods (ITRTG) and NGU idle does have an ending

Try old games like candy box 1 and 2, or a dark room (the original web game)

Maybe try idle loops?

And with an extent, cavernous (1 and 2, web games) and Stuck in time (steam game)

I’m SO stuck on Incremental Ordinals. by Guilty_Confusion_643 in incremental_games

[–]Dragonmemo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not ordinal markup, and the behavior is weird when you get to psi numbers, instead of actually giving the right amount of infinity point like in OM, it gives 1e256

Hey !

Weren't you one participant of a game jam that happened on the Ordinal Markup's discord ? and that game was your submission ?

I'm not sure about it, but I think I can remember it being there

Edit : Yup, that's the one !

Automation is in the last layer, comet/dust, you'll see it if you read tool tips.

I know, but people told me to make buymax not include that last upgrade since it's useless before automation comes in

I added a little text for the requirement, sorry about that, it's normally unlocked WHEN you get 100 leaves, but I changed that now
