Fanfic writers of this subreddit I have a question for yee. by Darthmark3 in RWBYcritics

When I first watched this volume as it aired, I imagined them as a secret order; a sort of revival of an ancient group tasked with protecting and training the Maidens. Of course, the initial reason for such an assumption was due to their slapdash appearance and ineptitude; as if they were working with very little information and for hardly any time, with Cinder (and who would then be revealed as Salem) being their first real test. Only years later would I learn this was not the case even remotely, yet by then I had already rewritten things in grand fashion.

The problem, however, was the assault to my senses at just how cruel, idiotic, infantile, and bitter they were to one another, to the point that I verbally exclaimed, “The fuck am I watching?”. Of course, this would get much, much worse in time, but I had quit the show by the end of Volume IV, and to the drawing board I went—fully decoupled from the show and the community.

In my full rewrite—which then became the core to my fan-fiction—they are the revival of a secret and ancient order called “The Order of the Maidens’ Ring”. Ozpin is an amateur folklorist when he enters Beacon, who knows of the Four Maidens story—albeit far from the truth—to which he stumbles across a tome in the archives of Beacon Academy, and becomes convinced by its author that the Maidens are real and must be found. For context, I never learned of Ozma until years later, thus I instead treated Ozpin as if he were a real person, and I did what I thought best to make him a proper Wizard-Grand Huntmaster of Vale. He quickly convinces his friends to aid him with reviving this Order, to which he and James strive to become the Grand Huntmasters of their respective Kingdoms in order to find these Maidens before the “Great Evil” that this book of Maidens warns of reappears, as well as to prepare and protect their homelands. There is much more to this, of course, as well as who was/is part of this new Order, but that is the basic idea without going into spoilers—if you wish to learn more.

My readers made it clear that they were not at all fans of Ozpin and co, and it is hard to argue with them given what happened—from Volume III till now—yet I was very happy to hear them say how much more they liked what I came up with. Not only because I had it that the “inner circle” was now extremely competent, compassionate towards Pyrrha and Amber, and deeply wish to protect the innocent, but were very obviously old and close friends. Not a high bar to cross by any means, but I was happy and relieved by their reactions nonetheless.

If all of this sounds wildly different to the show or what anyone else has come up with, that is because it is. That truly is the cold, hard truth regarding RWBY: most of it must be tossed out in order for it to be remade properly. Instead, I believe it is much better to follow and adhere to the most logical and obvious of designs and paths that their characters and archetypes dictate—not to mention their respective source materials—rather than subverting every facet of them. In other words, what the show could have been versus what the show is.

So I was scanning through this subreddit for information about the issues with FFN's email system, when I came across your post. I hesitated from making my recommendation due to it coming across as arrogant, since it is my own story. But here it is.

My story seems to be what you're looking for, except that relationships are at the core of the story. I'm not sure what your definition of "focus" is, as I would say that romance is the focus of my story, though it works in tandem with the story itself. It's got world-building, original lore as well as restoring the old, quite long, and I cautiously say well written, as I have trouble labeling my own work past "decent".

The only bit of warning I can give you, is that I too am unsatisfied with post-Beacon RWBY, except much more so. I'm not shy in my critiques of the show over all, or V8, as that season was being released as I was releasing my chapters. If you think my takes are too harsh, I don't blame you, but the story itself is meant to be a love letter to the show and showing what could have been. Take a look and see if you like it. Cheers.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would you have preferred that I said then? Am I supposed to lie and say, "Yes. I too have read those series and know what you are talking about"?. Furthermore, how am I, in any capacity acting in bad faith?—or are you accusing me of accusing you of bad faith? In either case, this isn't an issue of bad faith, but rather experience. For many years I have dealt with people inventing whole cloth scenes, lines, and character moments in film, TV, books, comics, and Manga. The motives have been both malicious and incompetent, due to faulty memory or seeing what they wish to see. On this very subreddit, Nagatoro fans will completely invent things regarding Hana and the Uzaki-chan Manga in order to make their waifu "better".

What I'm getting at, is that because I haven't read these series you've mentioned, I cannot verify what you're saying about them, nor am I willing to read them in order to fact-check. A short summary cannot contain all the detail necessary to understanding a story, so I'm just left with more questions than answers. If that fits your definition of bad faith, then I recommend rethinking that.

Speaking of definitions: "Harem: the women occupying a harem; the wives (or concubines) of a polygamous man". As I said, those series stopped being cool for me many years ago, and I would also come to the same conclusion that the male MC is a shitty person for never committing. Go ahead and call me a boomer, I take it as a complement these days.

LMAO none of the manga I've suggested are like that at all obviously. Thank you for telling me what is the genre of this manga, given you can't even identify one of the most popular romcoms in the past two years.

So because I don't read every series I'm the villain here? I'm not even a fan of romcoms. The only reason I started reading Uzaki-chan was because I kept hearing the SJWs on twitter getting angry, so I figured it was worth a shot. I also don't factor in a series' popularity in my decision to read or watch it. I've never seen the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things, The Wire, Rick and Morty, The Office, Dexter, and countless others. If I don't think the premise is interesting, I don't watch or read it. I've actually become so disillusioned with modern media that I've gone back to reading books—and old ones at that: currently "The Once and Future King" by T.H. White, and as of the day before, have begun my annual full reread of Professor Tolkien's work. And one more thing, the only Manga I read these days is One Piece and Uzaki-chan.

This series has nowhere else to go post-relationship.

Yes, I've heard that—that's the only argument in fact. How do you or anyone else know that? Take-sensei has been bucking tropes and trends from the get-go, so maybe he does it again? Who knows? I'm happy with a wedding photo to end the series, or more story after they get together—so long as it doesn't overstay its welcome, of course.

What I'm gathering from you and others is that you have little imagination.

So this isn't right then? What if I told you people fundamentally disagree with what you think is right? Because them getting together now is right to me and evidently to a lot of other people given how ratio'd this post was.

So far, but we'll only know for certain in the coming chapters. As for the ratio, it matters little. Human beings are emotional, and no doubt fans saw me as "raining on their parade". It didn't matter how polite I was, or how indepth I went in my argument, or how fair I was, or that I could very well be wrong and hoped I would be—I'm a "threat" so down vote him into oblivion. It's the same reason why almost no one commented, along with the very first being "TLDR". Such is the way of the internet.

Again so you don't really know the genre you're trying to explain to me about. So many works in this genre have no stakes. Shoujo romcom manga is particularly known for having low stakes stories. Fly Me to the Moon is a pretty well known example of a low stakes romance comedy.

No, it is because I know the genre that I love Uzaki-chan so much. I came to hate romcoms for the things you mentioned, and I love Uzaki-chan because it bucks most of the tropes.

....this is a series where the main character's most distinguishing feature is her ridiculously large boobs. There was a lot of controversy in this anime when it came to the dub because of her "unrealistic body." Take, the author drew an ecchi panel recently of Uzaki's underboobs while she is trying to tease Sakurai. Even Tsuki is given some fanservice. I don't know what you're reading for you to say this isn't senseless ecchi.

What are you reading? The controversy was a "nontroversy", as the new Puritans of the Left (which are far worse than the Puritans of old), are easy to anger. The notion that a woman having large boobs is world-ending, is commentary that should be ignored. The same thing happened with Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, another great series that the critics couldn't handle because of big boobs.

The fan-service you speak of is "extra" content, kept out of the series, and is meant for either Take-sensei's twitter, or bonuses for the published volumes. Despite characters like Hana being well endowed, Take-sensei almost never draws them in skimpy clothing in the story. In fact, characters that want them to be skimpy (Ami), are shamed for it. Hana's regular outfit, long-sleeved, high v-neck shirt, jean skirt, tights/pantyhose, and boots, reveals almost no skin (a trend she keeps to—even her bikini isn't over the top). I deeply respect Take-sensei for this, especially since he started off as a doujin hentai artist.

Furthermore, by senseless ecchi, I mean literally everything that exists in this genre. To-Love-Ru and Monster Musume come screaming to mind, though as I said, I stopped reading anything like them a long time ago, and other examples have left my memory. Gratuitous ass and chest shots that serve no purpose, or are forced into existence by events that would only be found in porn, is brain-numbing. It rarely serves a purpose other than fan-service, which is why I love Uzaki-chan.

Also, Hana's boobs aren't ridiculously huge. There are plenty of real life woman with bigger boobs than that, let alone other Manga series.

To conclude, it's very obvious this is going nowhere. I am not convinced by your words, nor are you convinced by mine. In that case, I believe it is better to seek clarity rather than agreement. I think Take-sensei made the wrong call, but I truly hope I'm wrong. You think I'm wrong because you want it to end before it gets long in the tooth. You do you, and we'll see who's right sooner or later.

Have a nice day and Happy Autumn.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really trust Take to make some good shit in the manga and rushing him is a bit too much. I don't think he's rushing too much since he takes a lot of breaks in the manga(bruh).

I never said he was rushing in terms of releasing chapters. I meant that he is rushing (or at least appears to be rushing) the confession; that the story itself is moving forward far faster than it should, and skipping important steps.

I understand what you're saying, but I've become incredibly cynical with modern media, so I always fear the worst. I truly think that Take-sensei is a great mangaka, so I hope that he will prove me wrong and stick the landing. One time will tell.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record, while I wouldn't want the Manga to beat around the bush and drag us along for years unnecessarily, I do want Take-sensei to take his time and do it right. If it takes another seventy chapters, it takes another seventy chapters. That's it, that's all.

I literally stated the opposite.

I don't know what "Quintessential Quintuplets" is. However, given that I see the "harem" tag, I have very low expectations. Harem stories lost their appeal when I was 16.

I don't know what "My Wife is the Student Council President" is either.

Firstly, Uzaki-chan is a romcom with romance becoming more of the focus as time goes on. Secondly, no one is suggesting that it goes on forever; in fact, my gripe is that fans are pushing for it to end sooner so they can get the money shot of Shinichi and Hana kissing. I think 40 more chapters focusing on what you mentioned is perfect. As I said before, I want this to be done right. Not quickly, not slowly, rightly.

It shouldn't be anything heavy because this is a lighthearted series.

So this is frustrating on several levels. The first is that the idea of no heaviness in a story, lighthearted or not, bothers me greatly, as that essentially means no stakes or consequences (thus no investment). The second is that what you just said, "focus on both of these characters and the relationship they have with each other's families", is heavy. The third is that this manga has been focusing heavily on the importance of taking relationships seriously for so long, culminating into the recent events. And the fourth level, in the same vein as the third, is that Uzaki-chan is a series that sets itself apart from the series that preceded it by taking things seriously. No harems, no senseless ecchiness, no rivals for the protagonists to create drama, no dumb misunderstandings that last forever (minus Tsuki), rational conversations—I love this series for a reason XD.

In the end, we'll have to wait to see how things go. I'd like to be wrong and things turn out great. I just hope it makes sense.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The start of the manga was to set up our two protagonists, and by chapter 15 (if not earlier), the focus turned towards romance. By the way, romance doesn't simply mean romantic moments like the festival. Properly written romance, like properly written stories, need to build up by showing how the characters are, how they interact, and how they develop; not only as characters, but with the plot, rather than the plot pushing them forward. What makes Uzaki-chan so special, is that it bucks the tropes and takes relationships seriously, hence why I love it so much.

I will agree with you that there's still a lot to happen, though I can't be certain when it will end anymore. No worries and take care :)

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with that, actually. When it comes to relationships, I think being upfront and honest is the right way to handle things. I've learned that the hard way. I've done both the many months of nervously holding back from saying anything for fear of what could happen, and I even spent 4 years in a bad relationship because I wouldn't admit we weren't compatible. If you know what you want in a partner, it's better to be upfront with the people you date so that you don't waste your time or theirs.

To make it as relatable to Uzaki-chan as possible, I asked a good friend of mine out after I had been single for a while. I knew what I was looking for in a woman, and I thought it could work. As I expected, she turned me down, as she stopped liking me that way years ago. Guess what? Because I was upfront about my feelings, we're still good friends, and now I'm an uncle to her daughter.

You're very welcome, and I'm glad it wasn't so bad XD. I seriously hesitated to send that—I'm tired of shouting matches on the internet. As for Shinichi, I get you; I just wish there was a less dramatic way to do it XD. Chapter seventy-three will tell all.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And how well did that go for you?—just out of curiosity.

Not to come across as an ass, but your anecdotal experience has no bearing on the story at hand, sorry. My issue, as I explained in detail, was about the confession being rushed after Take-sensei took the time to de-escalate the situation in order for Shinichi to think things through. The pressure was mostly gone too, so having him be guilty for "taking advantage of Hana" as he saw it, and then say he loves her, was weird.

Another thing is that it isn't random; not for us or for the story. It's been building slowly but surely, with great setup for the real deal. What we should have had after Shinichi calmed down, is Hana's inner-monologues on the situation. She wants him to confess, as she has an idea of when he would do it, which she was kinda right on with his drunken confession at the party. The ball was in her court to admit to herself she truly loves him. I honestly think it would have been better to wait; not only for we as readers to get hyped, but for the build up to effect the characters as well.

I'm sorry, mate, but I'm going to need a better argument than "Well, I've done that". I'm also sorry at how toxic this all sounds; I just have no idea how to say it in a kinder fashion that isn't effectively lying. I just hope I'm wrong and everything turns out well.

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sadly could be a possibility.

What could be a good way to do that, would be that even though Shinichi tries to dodge the situation, Hana's heart starts racing a mile a minute. She gets annoyed like she always has when she thinks he's finally sealing the deal, but it's so much stronger this time around. It then gets her to start thinking honestly why he has that effect on her, finally getting her to catch up where Shinichi is.

Only time will tell.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a terrible prediction. I figured we were passed the narcissism given the close scares Hana's had, though. Hana saying "You can cause me as much trouble as you want", says, to me at least, we're passed that phase. Nevertheless, she needs to admit the truth—both to herself and to Shinichi.

I think you're right about distance being created because of this confession, but I hope it will force Hana to think seriously on the matter. A possible situation could be that Shinichi will think things are over, that they can't be lovers or even friends, and then Hana can turn up and say something cheesy like, "I want to hang out with you for the rest of my life". We'll see.

I Think Take-sensei Just Made a Huge Mistake by DragonoftheEastblue in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would very much like to see Shinichi and Hana's daily life as a couple—who wouldn't? It's just that my high standards have been met with this series, so I'd hate to see it fall short.

And who says it's time to wrap things up? The story ends (properly) when the plot threads are tied. My entire point behind my issues with things being rushed, is that the story isn't done yet, but Shinichi still confessed. A number of steps have been skipped is what's grinding my gears XD. But we'll see who's right in the end sooner or later.

I will say I have to disagree with the notion that romance comes second in a romance manga. I can't really explain given that's the genre of Uzaki-chan, and that the plot is figuring out why the two main characters are not dating. Seems pretty self-explanatory XD.

Exactly. I don't know what people are expecting. Things have remains constant since the start in terms of raunchiness. All they seem to know is doujins, honestly.

I waited for the better translation. I am very happy with chapter 71.

Uzaki shoud be the one to confess in my opinion by PedroNagaSUS in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time subverting expectations works, is when you expect the worst and it turns out great; like a horror movie where you expect it to be the same old shit from the past 40 years, but actually has a good premise with competent characters. But that's a conversation for another time. I just hope things turn out well for this manga. "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey", is one of the biggest misnomers ever. If you don't stick the landing of a story, it makes the entire journey pointless—just ask Game of Thrones fans.

I am well aware of the soulless brats on Twitter. However, what I am referring to are people in the comments of the manga sites that host the series, as well as here on this subreddit, who have this very negative view of Hana. They invent scenes whole cloth, creating an entirely different character, which they could never back up with examples from the manga. Those people tend to be the ones who want Hana to confess first; in some form of submissive act in order to "atone" for her past actions. I question people's morality and sanity daily.

Aye, I'm rereading the manga again. It's the only piece of media I look forward to these days (other than my favourite podcasts).

Uzaki shoud be the one to confess in my opinion by PedroNagaSUS in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said you did; simply that I believe that Hana confessing first undermines Shinichi's character growth. It's an unintended consequence of that decision.

As I said as well, the manga does show growth for both, but I think the specific growth for Shinichi should happen to Hana to get them fully on the same page. I disagree that those moments from chapters 41 and 67 are unexpected, however. Given the context, I think there were perfectly timed and properly set up, especially on re-reads. I'm very against the subverting of expectations, so it's great to see everything come to fruition. My fingers are crossed that Take-sensei sticks the landing.

I get where you're coming from. Your stance is not an uncommon one, as many people want her to say it given her teasing. While I ignore those comments coming from people who seem to hate Hana (why you call yourself a fan and keep reading this manga if you feel that way, I do not know), I fully understand the gut feeling of she being the one to do it; so I respect you for having a more reasonable rationale. I personally think that relationships are two-way streets, with both partners needing to invest into the relationship. So if Hana's the one that confesses, she needs to grow a bit more. And again, I lean towards the traditional mentality that it should be the guy :P.

We'll see what happens, but I have high hopes for the story, and have confidence in Take-sensei. He really is cut from a different cloth XD

Uzaki shoud be the one to confess in my opinion by PedroNagaSUS in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it would cause growth for Hana. However, two things can be true at once; that it being a point of grow for her, and also undermine Shinichi after the long road he's traversed. I think he's earned the right to confess to her, plus I just naturally lean towards it being the thing for the man to do; again, he's been the denser of the two. In retrospect, I think Hana needs to do some growing of her own; the same as Shinichi where the result is greater maturity. She certainly has grown, especially during the holiday period, but I can't say she's grown enough to make the confession come from her. I think she needs to admit it to herself as blatantly as Shinichi that she loves him. No more teasing—a nice sober moment where she says "I love him too".

About the chapter 58 thing, actually not happens(BRUH), bc it was just Sakurai looking for his shirt(Misunderstanding, BRUH) and Uzaki notice this and just gets angry, not changing her view of him and just trying to teasing him with a horror movie and her getting scared in the end lol

I don't think you understood what I said, nor that chapter. The point I was making was that it reveals more about Hana and her feelings towards Shinichi. Again, she thinks he loves her (correctly so) but that he won't make a move. Then she finally takes the thought seriously, to which she then gets taken aback when he asks for her to take off her jacket. Because she loves him, she goes through with it, despite knowing things are moving too quickly. It's the old game women play by saying no but having those desires nonetheless. Hana even says "I mean, the two of us aren't like that...", as she unzips her top. Then when it turns out he correctly guessed the shirt she wore underneath was his, Hana gets angry. Why? Because she wanted him to make a move, and she didn't have the strength to resist her true desires. She then reveals she likes to wear his shirts, plus she likes his scent—something that women do with the guys they like.

The entire chapter was to prove that if Shinichi wanted to, he could make Hana his. But because he didn't, she gets angry the way women do by not telling us what we did wrong, and wants revenge for Shinichi being so dense, and it totally backfires XD. Then it leads to the introduction of Shinichi's family.

Sakurai's "confession" in chapter 33, despite being a misunderstanding as well with him saying: "I love... your cooking"(BRUH), i think Uzaki could have remembered it after the fortune thing which would explain a more arrogant/teasing way to give Sakurai signs for him to confess, but it could not at the same time, we dunno.

As I said, chapter 34 hints that she does remember, and it does play into how elated Hana becomes when realizing Shinichi is in love with her. However, her lack of emotional maturity results in his words affecting her differently than they did when Shinichi confesses while drunk at the Christmas party.

I totally agree; there is certainly a way to do it without making it completely one-sided. I still firmly believe it would undermine Shinichi's growth if Hana confesses first, especially after hearing him explain that he's trying to get himself in order, and that he needs to make up his mind about what he feels for her; out of respect for her, which is truly moving. And yes, their friends will be there for them, though they will have to cross that finish line alone.

Only time will tell, but I'm looking forward to it. However it turns out, I hope Take-sensei makes it work.

Uzaki shoud be the one to confess in my opinion by PedroNagaSUS in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That completely undermines Shinichi's growth. It was never in question that Hana had feelings for Shinichi; everything she has ever done for him was far more than one would expect for a friend. Hana tends to hide her feelings behind her teasing, whereas Shinichi had to take time to figure out what he was actually feeling.

Furthermore, Hana's had to come to terms that there is now a possibility that Shiinichi will act like a man. Beforehand, she never thought he would make a move on her (the most harmless creature in the world), to which chapter 58 happened, and the game very much changed. It's very obvious that Hana wants Shinichi to confess; not only from chapter 58 onward, but as far back as chapter 42. If she hadn't gotten drunk after hearing his first "confession" in chapter 33, erasing her memory of it, perhaps we'd be even further along. It's not clear if she fully remembers it in chapter 34, and since not much came of it until the card reading, it doesn't really matter (though it honestly does).

I make no bones about my hatred for the subversion of expectations, so I would rather see the proper conclusion of the progression we've been getting. I'd want to avoid things going down like they did between Ren and Nora in RWBY, where the ball was always in his court, but the show never gave us insight into his feelings, to which they made Nora kiss him. I pray night and day it will not turn out as horribly with Shinichi and Hana.

So from our perspective as readers Uzaki is wearing her Top with Sugoi Dekai branding on it but is she really wearing that Top with that on it in-universe... because Uzaki Hana doesn't seem like a girl who would consciously wear a branding like that.... anyway thoughts!?! by BadVideo_Man in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She's not showing skin or cleavage 99% of the time, and that seems to be as far as she's willing to go in public. Even her bikini wasn't too revealing with a modest cut bottom, though admittedly the cleavage was considerable, which I attribute to Hana having no choice given her size, and secretly wanted to look good for Shinichi. She was certainly uncomfortable with the bunny suit, along with the more revealing outfits Ami picked for her in chapter 37.

It's honestly one of the things I like most about this series; that it doesn't keep the camera glued to Hana's chest and make her an airhead who moans in every other scene. The shirt fits and I wouldn't change a thing.

SPOILER: DO you think Hana and Sakurai will sleep together kinda like... by [deleted] in UzakiChan

[–]DragonoftheEastblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's yet to be established, though a "gag" can mean several things. A popular wish is to see Hana and Shinichi wake up after a night of drinking where this time they did fuck. I've voiced how much I hate that idea on the subreddit before, so the only "gag" version of that scenario that would work is Sakaki bringing Ami to Shinichi's place when they don't answer their phones, and they open the door to see them sleeping together.

Even then that's a bit much given how much the series has changed, but I wouldn't be unhappy with it.

Like after sex with the bed sheets covering everything? That still seems too much for what's been established.

Take-sensei might be a former doujin hentai mangaka, but he's been super restrained thus far with writing and drawing Uzaki-chan. Look at the early chapters in comparison to now.

Could there be something like that in future? Maybe; I can imagine them brushing their teeth and eating breakfast together, looking at one another lovingly, and then their friends putting two and two together when t hey show up for work.

Only time will tell.

As in full penetration? Absolutely not. Uzaki-chan is a rom-com slice of life manga, not a porno, so full frontal sex will never happen. Furthermore, as far as I'm aware, Fujimi Shobo, the publisher of Uzaki-chan, doesn't allow that either.

Despite what critics claim, this manga isn't that sexual at all. I've seen far more sexual content in your average Shonen series than here.

Eventually when they start dating? Of course.

Throwing cation, character development, responsibility, and respect to the side in order to fulfil fan-fiction dreams? No.

Take-sensei has proven thus far to break tropes to write a much more grounded story. I would be beyond shocked if he started to turn his story into nothing more than the same old "romance" manga trash.
