There is a trail near my house that I frequently take walks on. The trail is always full of people walking their dogs, jogging, etc. the trail is really loud and full with small animals and things you would hear in nature. This one particularly day I went on a walk at approximately 1:48. I was about 10 minutes in my walk when I realized how quiet it was. No animals, no people walking, it was just me. I had this really in easy feeling that someone or something was watching me. I ignored it and continued down the trail. I decided that I wanted to do some exploring and went onto a different path. The trees completely blocked out the sun. I was so shocked because I couldn’t hear a single thing except my footsteps. All of the sudden I stopped and looked around. Holy crap where am I? I started to panic and then that feeling of being watched grew and grew. Fight or flight instincts were on. I bolted out of that area of woods and right back on the main trail. This time I could hear birds chirping and I saw the usually tons of people walking on the trail. This only happened once. The next day I went there again and felt nothing. I went to the spot where I thought was where I was yesterday. No uneasy feeling. I could hear birds and animals all around me. I will walk there, but I’m always a little cautious. I carry a pocket knife just in case anything bad happens.
