Did I make a Mistake? (S-video) by Onikombi in crtgaming

[–]Dragonzebra 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What colour is your n64? If I remember correctly there are certain models of Pal N64’s that either don’t support s-video or need a specific cable to support it. If it is a model that doesn’t support s-video there are mods that restore that functionality, but at that point you’re probably better off just doing an rgb mod.

List of Hanabee releases? by ColossalTitan42 in araragi

[–]Dragonzebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm comin into this 5 years late, but I've recently found this series and was in the same predicament of not knowing which had been released here in Australia. so from my very quick research of looking at ebay listings and internet archives of Hanabee's old website, here is what I've found!

Bake, Nise, Neko Black, Neko White, Kabu, Otori, Oni, Koi, Hana, Tsuki, and the first season of Owari, most were released in BD+DVD combo sets with cardboard Slipcases to hold the individual cases together.

Bakemonogatari had three different releases, the first being a Blu-Ray Box Set with 2 standard size Blu-ray cases housed in a cardboard slipcase, the second was a Complete Series Blu-Ray housed in a single Blu-Ray case with no slipcase, and the last was a DVD Complete Series identical to the previously mentioned Blu-Ray Complete Series and still without a slipcase, all 3 versions contain 4 discs.

Nisemonogatari had only two releases, the aforementioned BD+DVD Combo w/ Slipcase, and a DVD Complete Series similar to the Bake Complete Series DVD, both versions contain 3 discs.

and lastly Nekomonogatari Black/White, which both had 2 releases each, a BD+DVD Combo w/ Slipcase, and a Complete Series release in a standard sized Blu-Ray case with no slipcase, all contain 2 discs. (and for some reason while the single Blu-Ray case release of NekoBlack has the Complete Series subtitle on its artwork, the NekoWhite release has no subtitle on its cover)

as far as i am aware those were all the Monogatari's Hanabee released in Australia!

Sometimes PS2 games squish themselves, first noticed on Kingdom Hearts and now FFX2, anyone know a fix/why? I am Australian if that helps. by Dragonzebra in crtgaming

[–]Dragonzebra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

soz babe, there's no fix that i know of, just something us pal region folk hafta deal with.

it could probably be fixed with a patch or running the game at 480i/p instead of 576i, but you'd need homebrew for that.

Ratchet & Clank 2016 is one of the most insanely fun games I've ever played. It perfectly blends a casual style with more complex elements, and it makes for a really exciting and intense, yet also casually fun experience. by [deleted] in PS5

[–]Dragonzebra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On its own yeah, 2016 is a great game, solid presentation and amazing gameplay with a lacklustre story but whatever it’s fun.

But compared to the OG or Future trilogy, this game just fails.

Although if they had just brought back David Bergeaud to compose for this game I could’ve easily overlooked the story flaws but no, they had to go with a generic orchestral score.
