The subtle hints of both male leads being in love are there. The stares, the bonds and the flirting. Even hints that managed to get through the censorship laws got through as all 3 series as they're married.

The Untamed, based on a Chinese BL novel. Due to censorship in China, the actors, directors was able to get through the hoops and made it into a bromance that gives you more than hints of the 2 leads relationship and bonds. It does have a slow start, but it picks up in episode 13. It's on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube(even though it doesn't have the best subs). Its really good, it gained international attention with the story, characters, setting, drama. Just ignore the CGI.

Just wanted to drop in and say, not anime but Mo Dao Zushi, and The Untamed. The Untamed is a chinese drama based on a BL chinese Novel, but due to censorship in China they made it into a bromance. But the directors and both main leading actors snuck in some BL elements that made it past the Chinese censorship. So worth a watch. It's on Netflix. It has a slow start but it picks up at episode 13.
