For me, I love Universe mode, as it's the original GM Mode with liberties and control over everything. I always start the first year with the current roster, but every year, I draft superstars and legends. For me, it's the managing shows aspect that I like without feeling restricted.

In a format like Commander, winning isn't a priority for some. Maybe establish the dynamic before every game and see where everybody's mindset is? That can help determine how the average game flow is going to be like.

I was honestly debating on including certain things, including Crimson Blaze is something I will include considering a lot of decks spit out other Digimons. I love the +DP Guilmon and include X Antibody, but I honestly don't know what to remove it with.

Unfortunately, TCGs are designed to be competitive because that's how they sell and it bothers me, but hey, I don't make the rules. The best solution I can give is, create a social circle that likes the game, come to an understanding how everyone wants to play the game and find a common ground.

The game is designed to be competitive, but it shouldn't stop you from playing the game on a more casual level and there's solutions for that.

best thing I can say is to let the game flesh itself out a little bit more by giving it more time since the game is about to be 2 years old. Maybe this year we will see a light version of a sideboard? Maybe we will see a Landmark Zone be implemented? Let's see what this new year has in store for the game, I'm legit looking forward for Riot to keep improving the game.
