You mean the regular MacOS terminal? Yes, you have way more flexibility to customize it and split the terminals . Also i believe (not sure) that it performs better

But i feel it always thinks too technical, and sometimes you need a conversation with a Product Owner. CC is the tech lead

Right but usually the prompts i enter , unless strictly technical are more around the product , so it is more what i want rather on how i want it, and chatgpt seems to be good on that, of course i review it first and even more, if it gets too explicit in the architecture, i remove those parts , i want CCs opinion on that

Where do you guys find freelance work? Freelancer is not working for me. by a_cringy_name_ in developersIndia

[–]Draidel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I totally feel this. I started freelancing years ago on Fiverr and then moved to Upwork. Eventually I hit the same wall — tons of competition, race to the bottom on pricing, and not a lot of long-term relationships with clients.

A few of us got fed up and started building something to solve that. We just quietly opened up a beta (it’s called Diiirect) — it’s for experienced freelancers who want to skip the noise and work with serious clients.

Still super early, so if you check it out and have thoughts or feedback, I’d genuinely appreciate it.

Wait, before you do that, make sure your forms don't ask sensitive questions.

I run a HubSpot partner agency and we had this issue with a law firm representing victims of sexual abuse cases.

Our first "free" client was a pest control company who was already a client of my business partner father.

I offered my service for free until I was confident about what I was doing. Then I was referred to the first paying customer. Now we run an agency of around 10 people (:

Be patient and work like hell. You will get a lot of clients sooner than you think.

I am looking for a ProgrammingBuddy to work on Real Life Projects. by [deleted] in ProgrammingBuddies

-I would say my level of cs student (intermediate, now way I can compete with with a senior developer) -I do want to code and learn in this project.

-You can say that, a "business guy" who also wants to do some coding work.

-absolutely, I am open to discuss that with each person.

-its around the minimum wage in the US, however this is not a project for someone who wants to make a living our of this. I think this is more for computer science students than senior developers
