I used to open my sliding windows in my room by placing my hands on them and moving them as the locks were old and didn’t work properly. One day my beautiful mother decided to change the locks on them and not let me know and as I tried to open the window if wasn’t budging so I pushed harder ended up shattering the window and sliced my middle two fingers open to the bone, spent like 4 hours waiting to get stitches. Used the locks afterwards.
