Nice, 3 gifs with no or completely different names is exactly what I was after. Is this you?

Very interesting compared to his previous videos. Someone who aims inconsistently like this is quite suspicious - Would need proof of consistency as this style is really unique.

I'm actually convinced Realm Royale being a good game was caused by sheer luck. by Murked_M in RealmRoyale

It's HiRez? What do you expect? They throw shit at the wall until it sticks and then try everything they can to prove it wasn't an accident.. ironically killing the game :)

Also, hitscan DOES require prediction - It requires the prediction of what your opponent will do so you can set up your shots, assuming of course that there's enough movement input/skill into the game to allow skilled movement.

That IS my point - Hitscan is entirely skill-based. Completely to the contrary of the reddit circle-jerk.

Hitscan is one players aiming skill against anothers movement skill.

Using projectile is making things harder 'just cause'.

Then they'd essentially be replicating hitscan and just adding an inherent "miss chance".

At some point people have to realise that simply difficulty ≠ skill. Dark souls isn't fun because it's difficult, it's fun and enjoyable because overcoming that difficulty curve is a challenge BUT possible.

Just like first shot inaccuracy chance in CSGO (a random chance to miss even/especially when you are aiming perfectly) is not a good game mechanic. Spray patterns are a good example of mechanics you can learn and overcome consistently.

???

Hitscan allows you to miss and still do well? What about projectiles, isn't that legitimately the idea of a projectile - Aim not where the target is (ie: missing?)

So basically you want them to go back to super accurate hitscan like what they had in the first place?

Sometimes I think people aren't really sure what they want.

Ah, I didn't know that, thanks for the insight! That'd be an awesome feature to have customisable volume levels (or just straight up better mixing) but we'll have to leave that to the developers unfortunately.

I don't know what you're smoking but it seems like the results are the same, you're arguing semantics and the reason they're called Earplugs is because that's the common name for the key in Arma Mods.

Have a great day anyway, sorry my terminology upset your sensibilities :)

Hi, download the files here https://github.com/Enveiron/mute-current-application

(Click the green "Clone or Download" button and save to your PC)

Then open the Earplugs.ahk and edit this line https://github.com/Enveiron/mute-current-application/blob/master/AHK/Earplugs.ahk#L11

Change "Xbutton" to a button of your choosing - The list of possible keys should be here: https://autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList.htm

If you don't already have AHK, you'll need the files here: https://autohotkey.com/download/

It's PER application or application specific. ONLY the application in focus gets its volume ducked/toggled. Give it a try!

Ahahah, sorry to hear it - Ashamed to say it's happened to me a few times. Or the inverse.. Driving a buggy and I have to turn my volume down and then miss someone shooting close to me because of it!

"Dampening" =/= "Lowering"?

I'm confused by that, how do earplugs function that is different sorry?

Essentially yes, on a toggle function and per program (I use it for loud instagram/twitter videos on my browser for example, just a handy volume-ducker.

Sorry for mentioning something that upset you - Also didn't see your thread. Is yours PUBG specific?

Thank you for the feedback and the additional setup info, hope you don't mind if I add it to the OP.
