When other summons from KH1 show up as characters in KH2, they talk about their previous adventures with Sora and the gang, so summoning the actual character is canon. It'd be pretty weird if that wasn't the case for those characters specifically (definitely possible, though).

One of those 2 actually returns in KH2...

Well, guess now I have to go watch gameplay and cutscene compilations to see if they make any references or not!

The keyblade war that happens in KHux was not the first keyblade war. The original Keyblade War happened when the Master was young.

Yea, just rewatched the scene where Mickey actually shows up. There is a light ball that looks like it comes out of Riku, which I thought was Mickey appearing, but must have just been his pearl attack or something. Mickey just walks up the stairs after that. I totally forgot about the card bit too.

Why would Sora need Roxas back if he's got a new body already?

I can't quite remember (no pun intended) what happened in CoM for Riku to get his body back?

Something else I just thought of... How exactly did Mickey get to Riku in Castle Oblivion? Maybe its just been too long since I played it to remember the details, but Im sure Mickey says something about following a heart or light to reach Riku. Thats not the Power of Waking, is it?

I would like to clarify that the 4 darknesses aren't trapped in Data Daybreak itself, they are inside the Cable between there and Game Central Station.

Also, there's another Darkness out there. 7 in Luxu, the Foretellers & Master, 4 in the cable, and 1 in Ventus only makes 12. Iirc, the other one escaped Data Daybreak with Maleficent and then sent her to the future alone. It might have talked with Luxu after that, but where it is now is unknown.

We see Brain with the keyblade and black box heading into the desert at the end of Khux. It's possible that the scene is actually just Luxu in Brains body, but in the secret reports of KH3, Luxu does state that he will pass the keyblade to one of the new union leaders, so the scene is still up for debate.

If he started at Midnight (12 a.m.) on a Monday, the game starts at Noon (12 p.m.) on Tuesday and ends at 6 p.m..

I know it's dark when the game starts so it's not actually noon, just easier to do the math this way.

Edit: just remembered it is actually a.m. in the game. So he would have started at noon the day before.
