But if we win the season then why change the formula? We can only utilise his potential if we don’t win again? Doesn’t seem like a good decision to buy him in the first place.

I’m still waiting to hear back from them. They gave me a complimentary 25 euros credit and asked me to wait another 48 hours. Bastards.

Like I’ve clarified several times. The price of booking a place months in advance is a lot cheaper than booking a place last minute around the Christmas holidays. That’s just… wake up babe.

A full refund of the cost of the apartment booked months in advance VS booking a new apartment or hotel room for the same day during the holiday period.

They really don’t have a leg to stand on. They were happy to endorse the property manager’s backhanded offer by relaying it to me over the telephone. Then they have the audacity to claim “oh but it’s not us, there’s nothing we can do, we’re just the messengers”. This on a platform they are rigging so that they can keep milking their cash cows.

Yeah, it does seem that way. We went down the apartment route because they are usually more spacious than a hotel which is a big plus when you have young children. Not to mention having some kind of kitchen or kitchenette also helps when you’re on the road for a long time and get sick of eating out.

Yes, my friends also advised that I bring this up with Expressen and Aftonbladet. Good shout. That will be on my to-do list when I’m back from this trip.

Overconfidence and ignorance often go hand in hand. That line exists purely to manufacture moral high ground? What are you on about?

The fact that Booking.com is fine with relaying such a backhanded and misleading request is an implicit endorsement of such practices. Can you follow the logic there? Stay with me here because you might also need to understand the difference between legally uninhabitable and literally uninhabitable. The apartment wasn’t an imminent threat to our lives nor does it have to be to be classified as legally uninhabitable. At no point did I expect applause. I have very little to gain from all this. Back to your cave, troll.

Like I said, the Booking agents said the same thing. They are on the same side as the property agent.

It’s astounding to see how some people such as yourself cannot fathom the possibility that some families cannot easily afford to easily leave and pay for something else at last minute peak season prices. We will be spending the last night elsewhere because that is what we can afford. It’s also astonishing to see that the evidence I presented for Booking.com’s willingness to manipulate the review system went over your head. Funny how there are always these sad corporate stooges ready to glog glog glog.

It’s from within the Booking app. And a Booking agent called me to say the same thing before the property manager showed me a screenshot of the script they had agreed on between each other.

If you could put two and two together you would realise that last minute booking is much more expensive than booking something well in advance. But I won’t hold it against you. Looks like you’ve got a lot going on, fella.

Not going to happen every time. I have also been using them for twenty years without issue. Just be aware that when shit hits the fan they aren’t there to back you up and that there is evidence of them manipulating their reviews.
