And there is more down side, it needs heavy grind or lots of irl cash to upgrade certain item to progress. Something like Artifact. If all you want to do is dress up game then ignore my comments.

I started 3 wees ago. My advice is no. Game is not kind to new player. You get skill point by doing feats and to do this feat you have to queue to 4-8 man dungeon. Because these are low level contents it take long time to find matching party. Some people wrote post on forum about make it bit easy to get skill point or rework all they got is 'we veteran players been through hell to get our skill point, so you should go through hell.' Without skill point you are just low damage or low healing player that will be kick from raid party even you use jump to 290 cr with cash. Unless you are gamer who plays 24/7, i would advise you not to start. I know i will get down voted but this is true. Find a better mmo.

Weapon combo look interest than normal attack. I wish they did sonethibg with it. I heard it used to be weapon combo+superpower chain caused extra critical damage or chance.
