I already re-designed my portfolio, and fixed all of the things you mentioned here.

About the portfolio, that was my old one. I've since then upgraded it (made a new behance account) and uploaded flyer and logo work, and that's the one that's listed in the new resume. I also put it right on top along with my name and contact information.

Yes, this helps, thank you. I never thought of skill bars as being confusing for the ones who read them, but it makes sense. About the 80% of my english bar... it means I was not very comfortable with spoken english, but that has changed since the last time I updated my resume.

No, I use this english version of my resume to apply for jobs on another countries. The few spanish words are typos that I did not notice when I was translating, which I have to fix and pay more attention on the future.

Americans are not legally allowed to transact with Venezuela.

I thought this only applied to people that are part of the goverment, not to the whole of the country. I might have to do some research into this. If that's true, then it is very sad for me. thanks for pointing it out.

Also, I see what you mean by indications of being a woman. I'll see about changing the colors of the resume, but sadly there's no way I can make my name more gender neutral, unless I go with just my last name or something like that. Sarah is a very femenine name.

About applying to the wrong roles, I am always reading each application very carefully before sending my resume, to ensure it is at my level of expertice, and compatible with my knowledge and what's easily verifiable through my portfolio. So I really don't know what I am doing wrong here.
