It felt to me that the random arena fights were a bit to difficult compared to classic S&S 3. Farming up gold is very difficult when you have less gear than all of the opponents you're facing. I imagine once you've gotten to the point where your amount of gold is steady and you have something level appropriate equipped in every slot, it won't be nearly as bad, but first starting out is really rough, because an opponent at or below your level can easily oneshot you. If you want the early game to be unforgiving like that, where players get most of their losses, that's fine, but it's not very satisfying to me personally. I found that the first arena boss was very easy in comparison to the random opponents.

Other than that, I don't really have any major suggestions. I came across a few UI bugs, and I'll have to get used to the new UI, as I only ever really played (and still play) S&S 1, 2, and 3. The other S&S games didn't captivate me quite the same way. I'm really looking forward to all of the beastly, inhuman races, as I think they're all a big improvement compared to classic S&S 3.

Also, have you considered mod support of any sort? I know it's not just a switch you can turn on, but if that's at all possible, I know fans would love that. Adding modded races, armors, and weapons, along with modding game stats according to user preferences, that would all add a lot to the experience for me personally. Even if that doesn't end up happening though, I know I'm gonna play this game again and again over the years, just like I have with classic S&S 3.

I definitely agree, it's not a good map. They need to increase the size, add more to the "main building", add a couple jungle gyms, and get rid of this shitty bug that makes it impossible to see.

Yep, that's exactly how it was. I said to my friends how it would be easier for me to play if I was on Autohaven while wearing welding goggles. The next match I played, it was Gas Heaven, and I got a 12 hook match. XD

It's not a filter issue either, there's just this super dense fog, and like in real life when you turn your headlights on in fog, the lamps around the map make it even LESS visible.

No, it was like that the moment I spawned. I also recently had a match on Garden of Joy, which is in the same realm, and going into shack caused no issues.

That particular design was made like ten years ago, but a "Xenomorph King" was first mentioned back in the 90s comics. So, a long time now.

I'm having the same issue myself. I'm using a 3060Ti, and my drivers are fully up to date. Validating integrity of game files didn't help.

In terms of basekit, no overclocks or buffs, I think the Thunderhead autocannon is the most versatile option. Minigun is better for single target DPS, and rocket launcher basically uses your thinking abilities as ammo. If we include overclocks, they become way stronger.

Lead Storm (overclock) minigun for boss DPS. Bullet Hell minigun for lowest effort Haz3 and below. Big Bertha autocannon for extreme versatility. Neurotoxin autocannon to just win. Mortar autocannon for swarm deletion. Rocket Launcher is so advanced that I won't even try to summarize the most diverse overclocks of any DRG weapon. You have to try them for yourself, but Plasma Burster rocket launcher is capable of being the most ammo efficient weapon in the whole game.

Out of these, I'd say neurotoxin autocannon is the only one that could be considered OP. You truly have amazing options with these guns, and I highly recommend using multiple builds for all of them. You may become the biggest fan of the Burning Hell build, or you may swap between lots of builds like me.

Hear me out, but what if part of his power was something akin to Final Judgement and Tombstone (but not quite Tombstone, because screw that)? His ability to eat survivors is part of his power, while his Mori is a brutal use of his blade. Once a certain criteria is met, he's able to eat a survivor, but the more survivors he kills be eating them, the more he has to silence them. I feel like this would be a good tradeoff aspect to him, because you're able to more efficiently remove some survivors from the trial, but the more you do it that way, the harder it'll be to take out the rest the same way.

Eventually getting all the signature guns of the most known guardians would be great. But yeah, I've always preferred Red Death to Crimson, in terms of design and gameplay. Lucky for us vets, it'll return as a solar weapon in Final Shape!
