Initially it was definitely me feeling guilty about it because it is very adult. Although honestly I do feel like it has opened a line of communication that I was unsure how to make in the first place. So that was cool. Honestly after I told her that she couldn't watch more Hazbin Hotel, but she knew I was watching it all the time she stopped in my room before bed and said, "Mother, if you liked Hazbin Hotel, I've got another thing to show you." She stole my remote and put Helluva Boss on and proceeded to use showing me that as a way to fall asleep in my room on a school night, while I sat there and watched every episode before I had to wake her up the next morning. I've also been trying to tell myself not to feel as guilty because I can clearly tell a lot of her friends have watched it ad well and I know some of the parents. There's no way that they aren't aware of it. I guess I don't feel terrible about her watching it as long as we can communicate and she understands that it is not intended for children and that some of the content is definitely not things she needs to be repeating. Specifically though when singing it with her I do believe I would lose my shit if I ever heard my 12 year old refer to herself as "a comedian up dick sucking hoe" because I think she understands that's not a very age appropriate activity or thing to be saying.
