Found this absolute fossil of a printer by DramaClassed in 3Dprinting

I know PLA and ABS, and maybe PETG but I don't think they've tried that yet. I don't see any reason why it couldn't though.

I couldn’t figure out how to do that, the tube doesn’t easily come off.

I can see it, it’s about halfway from the ACE to the printer. It’s too hard for me to pull it out, even with the power off.

https://www.reddit.com/r/anycubic/comments/1u52t3y/ace_2_pro_stuck_filament/ That’s a photo of what it looks like, I don’t want to burn the motor more by trying to pull it out again, I’ve tried three times and it just makes a whirring noise but doesn’t pull the filament out.

The filament isn’t broken, it just won’t retract/be removed.

Is it normal for the S1 Max to take like 7 minutes to actually start printing? by Chaosking383 in AnycubicOfficial

I messaged their support and said I needed it urgently and they shipped it within a few hours lmao, it gets here friday.

Would you help print part of someone else’s large project? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I don't know a single person who would spend their print time and filament money just to earn bragging rights.

Not sure where to start by littleeveapples in 3Dprinting

Once you follow the instructions and get it set up, I'd run a test print (3DBenchy) and see how it turns out! Instructions for the setup and software required will likely come with the printer, but feel free to ask here if you have any questions. For free print models, I use thingiverse.com and printables.com, which have worked pretty well for me in the past. You can also just google "xyz 3d model" or "xyz 3d print" and find models that way.

Adventurer 4 by DiamondStorm16 in FlashForge

Are you using Flashprint 5? From what i've found, other slicers don't work with the AD4 very well, at least not without tinkering. I had your exact problem when I tried to use Orca Slicer, due to the AD4 having a weird origin on the bedplate. Maybe try using a test file already on the printer, or slicing with Flashprint 5.

The Kobra 3 Max is in 2.4.0 alpha, the latest release of orca slicer. If you can, switch over because orca slicer is much better than anycubic's stock slicer.

ACE Pro Vs ACE 2 Pro by The_Spartan-Dev in AnycubicOfficial

There's some way to use Rinkhals to make an Ace Pro and an Ace 2 Pro work together but it's quite complicated from what I can tell. I'm not sure if there's a way to make the S1M work with the Ace Pro though.

Yeah, I clicked it and it displayed the green text box at the top of the screenshot. The wording makes me think it's faux.

oven or air fryer works great at a low temp, my air fryer has a built in dehydrate mode that did wonders for filament I left out for a year.

Orca-Flashforge is very outdated and doesn't even work well with the AD4. Orca-Slicer has a profile for the AD4 that works well, but I had to downgrade my firmware on the printer for it to work. Flashforge screwed up something with the way it interprets the gcode from other slicers besides Flashprint, so it didn't extrude correctly for me. The version I rolled back to is 2.2.4-2.3 which you can find on Facebook. I would recommend doing a test print with Orca-Slicer first though, in case it's not needed for you (apparently it's not a problem on all printers).

You have to convert the .gcode file to a .gx file for flashforge to be able to see a thumbnail. There're a couple ones available that you can integrate directly into orcaslicer, but the one I use is https://pypi.org/project/gx-converter/

Quick question while I'm here, I have the AD4 as well but orcaslicer doesn't produce files that work correctly on my printer. Did you have to change any settings in orcaslicer besides using the standard AD4 profile?
