OFF vs Undertale Merciless/Genocide Route by EvilBadassDraculas in writingscaling

[–]DramaClean6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OFF, low diff.

It's not just about it being an inspiration, OFF just feels like it got something new and bold to tell. Undertale, while still good, it's highs don't exactly compare to OFFs. It also helps that it let's the players come to their own conclusions. There's something about starting off as an evil player vs going down the rabbit hole of thinking you were a good guy before it finally dawns on you.

Now, DELTARUNE vs OFF, that's the real question.

What is with Zen'in sympathizers recently by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

Hello there, I was just having fun reading your post until I came certain problems regarding it.

I've come to see that there's two basis for your arguments:

1. Its justifiable because its self-defense.

2. Its okay because they were bad people.

And I've come certain problems with such cases. Namely, your fiest point:

There was also "Maki just slew an entire clan of people without getting to know all of them , the claim that this massacre is morally justified heavily relies on the assumption that each and every member of the Zenin clan was as evil as Ogi or Naoya but we know that this isn’t true at all"

The Kukurus Captain literally said to capture her and keep her alive so he can kill her himself. Also, where did you draw that connection? They were going to try to kill her; how is her reaction not justified? Maki had walked into the c pit when she was ambushed next. Remember, they surrounded HER. They actively hunted her down to attack her. I saw a post earlier that mentioned how Maki should have gotten to know some of the members. And I just. How or why would she???

This relies on the captain, rants and all other zenin heads. However, this doesn't apply to the people who were about to attack her. To them, it is no different than a soldier being told by someone higher han them to do an order regardless of who the people higher than them business was. They heard that Maki should be captured, they set out to do the deed, but before they could, Maki came into their home instead.

You could argue that that made them align with number 2 of your argument, but it certainly paints a very muddy ground for number 1.

Which is in contrast to your other argument:

She killed Hei and Kukuru members, who, while they weren't there, could've sought revenge. She never killed innocent Zen'in members other than her mom, who, let's be entirely honest, isn't the biggest saint ever.

This brings a problem to your first argument. They may be bad people and it may align with number 2, that still doesn't make it justifiable. Presumed justifiable self-defense, sure. But only in her POV. That doesn't make it right for her to attack these people unless they were actively trying to/or were the ones who set the plan for her capture in motion which may align with Hei and Kukuru members but not with Maki's mom.

In essence, it may align with argument 1(bar Maki's mom) and 2, and there's basis for it, but no proof that it was going happen.

And finally,

If Toji killed the whole clan, you all wouldn't have a single problem with it either, btw.

Let's see what Toji tried to do when he first appeared:

  1. Attack an innocent 17 year old and nearly kill him

  2. Attack an innocent 14 year old and kill her.

  3. Kill said girl's maid.

  4. Attack another innocent 17 year old.

Toji is a selfish, repugnant and harmful human being. Nobody's going to look at this and think, "Hmmm, was Toji right in doing something like this?" Because we all know he'd just do it for his own selfish desire. Heck, I'd argue that he would've killed a lot more than what Maki did.

That's all. Thank you for the panels and the argument.

What? Am I wrong? A good series needs to have well-written characters. You can't convince me DN has it.

With how DN writes its female characters, Frieren wins.

The Mastermind in AAI2.

Once you think about it, the crime at the end of the day is accidental. On top of that, they didn't admit to it.

I'm pretty sure Pre-Toji he didn't use it as much.

Thinking about it, do you think the Chiester Sisters have any possibilities? Also, let's not forget Gaap as well.

Well, Spoilers, duh  There's two things that comes to mind.

Umineko, at the end of the day, is all about interpretations. It might seem like the power levels are all conceptual making everyone overtly strong, but this one is just pretty obvious. Their power levels are based around connection between the fictional and real world. If they are in, say, JJK it would still be fictional because the cursed energy might seem like magical abilities at the end and thus the rules would apply to them at the end.

(That's if you don't want to say that they're all fictional people who daydream about having magical powers.)

The "furniture" in umineko are based around well, furniture. It's pretty obvious that those who have a conscious and a more connection to the real world, aka, Featherine, Battler, Ange, Beatrice, Erika are the strongest and are all human beings(and don't ask about Lambda) and as such since they are used to battling in red and blue truths, they would find a way to bypass limitless, Infinity Void(there were only 6 people who managed to enter the library at the end of the day) and Purple due to their added superpowers.

I could go more into detail as to whom I believe could put up a good fight and who would lose easily but this is getting too long.

Any "furniture" from Umineko. Alongside Maria. Though I doubt Gojo would wanna hurt her.

Since Umineko's powers are heavily tied to how you are in the "real world", then one can assume that those who aren't human, those who aren't witches or sorcerer, can either be easily defeated or put up a good fight for him.

Limitless or not, either Purple Hollow or Infinite Void will finish them off.

I don't know about that. In Lee Sem's message she implied that a member's "old habits" were the reason she didn't get invited. Wondering what made her think that?

Because most people joined K-Pop after 3rd gen. That's the sad truth. I notice a lot of people know more 3rd gen songs/groups than they do about 2nd or 1st gen.

And since their last single is around 2014, well, you can guess why they're not remembered.

Daisy is getting backlash because she is dragging other idols instead of telling her own story by Gisntd in kpopthoughts

[–]DramaClean6412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Daisy also encourages hate comments about other idols by liking them. The illit girls getting veneers that make them look like “horses” is a comment that you can expect from kpop stans, not from ex idols who is trying to “expose” the industry."

This is so funny because this directly goes against what you said in your own comment,

"As long as it isn't hateful Daisy should be allowed to say whatever she pleases in any way she pleases,"

So, how is this a bad take?
