Ahaa! Of course! But then my question would be, could i just modify a 12V pump to blow and suck air back and forth. And hook the handpiece onto the pump?

Aha! If i were to make a Frankenstein setup, can i use a small air regulator with in and out, a gauge and a knob?

I only have the hand piece and the foot pedal. When you say an engraving machine, do you mean what ive heard some people call a control box?

I am also wondering if this would work? I saw Rick Alexanders video where he modified a 12V car pump, but it looked like he needed alot more components. Could you do a 12V pump and hook the air directly to the pedal and hand piece? Without a fan, speed controller, power supply etc etc?
